Like everyone, I’ve regressed to old fandoms during this fucking time. So comforting, so alienating. I don’t know how many who follow this blog are still On Tumblr, but if you’re reading this and relating: it’s wild, right? In 2008 it felt like love for the series peaked, but so did 2010, 2014, 2016. Now it’s 2020 and we’ve gotten a new chapter. And wine. But honestly, the official updates matter so little. They don’t scratch the same itches. Neither does new fandom, TBH, but I’m happy it exists and has its own sensibilities, its own improvements and drawbacks. I find myself, like a lot of older fans, interpreting characters anew; source material as spiritual text; studying stupid headcanons, weighing them on different scales since we’re older and hormones have settled–or are chugging differently, thanks vitamin T– and Life Hits Different, But We’re Still Devouring Fanfiction And Memes.

Anyway. All this is just an infomercial for Crush by @morphinejunkie lmao, and works like it. I’ve caught up in the last week or two and it inspired this little dive again. I express my love through livestreams, so will be doing a live-read of the brain-altering goodness that is Crush way later today/Friday at 8 PMish EST. (link pending…probably youtube, if I can remember how to log in…) 

Am probably not going to be active on this blog again, except to occasionally yell about a fanwork (so much Those I need to catch up on!!!). Stay safe everybody.

#it says ¡A L me lo comería!#lol#I don’t know if my translation is reliable#but it’s funny#it either means that#1) B wants to defeat L completely#2)B wants to overhelm L with loving but non-sexual affection#3)B finds L hot/B wants to fuck L#4)B wants to literally eat L#I guess that the translator was aiming for the 1rst meaning#but the 2nd one sounds more natural
