There are so many bad parents in King's works from Beverly Marsh's father, to Carrie's mother, Jack Torrance, Jake's parents, and Teddy Duchamp's father. King writes a lot about monsters but the worst evil are his human characters. Hurricane Irma update! We are doing well. There is a lot of rain and some wind. Some areas are flooded and don't have power. We have power, are not flooded, and have been making hurricanes. We couldn't see IT because all of the theaters were closed due to Irma. So, I didn't get to take a selfie for the premier yesterday. Good news! We are pretty much prepped for Irma so Nico and I may go see IT tomorrow! I was pretty bummed about not seeing it tonight so that makes me happier. .
