OOC: Trick or' Treat ((Tim Burton's lost project that has NO LostMediaWiki page))

(( I've posted about it before with less-than ideal quality images to boot, but me now having both The World of Tim Burton and The Art of Tim Burton books means I have more art to piece together for it.

As you all probably know, around the time Tim was crafting Vincent, Frankenweenie and also conceptualizing the original The Nightmare Before Christmas poem, he was pitching a lot of concepts art for shorts at Disney, many of which never saw the light of day or were only ever test-animated. The one I and others are most curious about is a series of concept art for a film project called "Trick or Treat", which was obviously going to be a Halloween-based film. "Trick or Treat" stands out to me because the concepts Tim envisioned for the project, as well as some of the creatures designed for it, clearly are the prototypes for some of the citizens of Halloween Town in Nightmare Before Christmas and possibly also Beetlejuice's netherworld.

But the bigger question I and everyone else has is...what was the plot or story of Trick r Treat?

From what I know (and have tried to place in chronological order therefore): Trick or Treat would have been about a human child (the one in the top image) and his sister at home on Halloween night. Somehow, someway they (if that is also his sister with the promo vamp bros) find themselves in a Halloween based world were monsters are throwing their own party, and appear to dress up as humans for Halloween...I think (???)

The whole thing seems very Dr. Seuss/Where the Wild Things Are inspired, with the short being a showcase for setpiece after setpiece of different, possibly hostile monsters and aliens ((the AoTM book says the blob creature w a blond woman as it's costume is titled "Alien with a Woman Hat", so I'm assuming aliens were gonna be a thing here)).

That candy-made monstrosity in the center of the pic, between the stacked clowns and the Jack-o-lantern patterned man also showed up as the subject of one of Burton's sculptures (see below).

That's all I have for now. More than anything, I'm just surprised this project doesn't get talked more about, especially when LostMedia wiki showed my lil know-it-all-butt and found bits and pieces of Tim's unreleased films, such as Stalk of the Celery Monster.

To all the lost/unfinished media junkies out there- you have yourself a good one here. Don't miss this opportunity~!
