Moving forward towards where he was sitting, she then stared in amazement and shock, though the shock was more bordering on delight by the second, the more she took in and rapidly recognized all his features and half of his mannerisms. “Lance?”she called out in slight wonder, slightly speechless for words for a moment over the highly unexpected twist of fate at reuniting with her old childhood friend whom she had missed. And despite it being close to 2 decades since they had last seen or communicated with each other, they had after all been incredibly close growing up, Alessa’s sharp werewolf nose could still somehow half-recognize his scent.

Alessa shot him a sarcastic smile, while her eyes were slightly more amused than anything else, having gotten used to Nolan and his quips for years now. “Well, I;’m sorry that not all of us can be as wealthy, privileged and splurgers like the Rothstein’s, “she mocked him teasingly. She then shook her head a little as she looked back at her laptop. “I have an adequate amount of roaming data coverage. It’s just that I highly prefer to reserve it for emergencies or only to be used at places where it’s impossible to get any wifi signal or has no wifi at all, “she explained. Her mouth then turned upwards as a slight smirk played on her lips while she looked back up at him again, face-to-face. “Does that offer come with strings attached or is it from the complete, pure kindness of your heart, my dear Nolan?”she inquired, her large, almond-shaped, dark brown eyes twinkling, for she knew Nolan too long and too well enough to just simply take any offers he gave at face value.

Thankfully they put her items on the side for her to purchase the next day when everything should be all up and running. “But hey at least we are now able to actually have civilize conversation with one another over having our face glued to the screen of our phone.” Jade couldn’t help but comment on how dependent on technology this generation is, she isn’t fully excused as well but she doubt she will go through some sort of withdrawal without the use of her phone for a few simple hours.
“Really? Oh, where did you heard this news from? “ Alessa quickly turned to fully face the other, her perfectly trimmed brows slightly raised hurriedly. Her lips then curved into a slight, amused smirk as she inferred the meaning behind the other female’s comment. Oh she thought that Alessa was the type of person that was constantly glued to their mobile devices 24/7, but that wasn’t really 100% true on Alessa’s case. Sure, Alessa was did rely a lot on her technological devices to help her with her highly-demanding main job as well as side-commitments, sometimes almost every day, but the moment she reached home, she barely glanced at her phone and had long since instructed her 2 personal assistants to only contact her if there was really something urgent which had to be desperately tackled within an hour or less. For family time and especially bonding time as well as taking care of her darling baby girl whenever she was at home was something she would never ever compromise on as best as possible. And the same rule applied whenever she would sometimes take vacations in the past either with her family or close friends or both, but right now, on this particular vacation, it was the first ever, out-of-the-country trip she had taken eversince the day her precocious daughter was born, so it was actually within reason to worry a little bit every once in a while and to make sure that she was able to Skype or FaceTime with her little girl, for almost an hour at least, at every single day she was staying at Arcadia.
Obviously knowing that there was no point in trying to justify herself in front of a total stranger right now, she then just gave a widely plesant smile at the other, and procedeed to speak with genuine warmth, “Well, it would seem so then. Good evening and hello. I’m Alessa, and you are?”she greeted the other cordially, while extending a polite hand out as well, at the same time, towards the other female.

Alessa let out a sigh. “While in that case, I’ll just try to wait a little while longer to see if it comes back soon, “she said, before leaning back on her armchair and giving her numerous attempts a rest. “By your statement, I take it that you’re not a brand- new guest like me right?”she asked the other, suddenly sitting up, with a slightly interested expression in her eyes and her usual highly-pleasant tone of voice.
She had that look in her eyes. The look of a graceful storm that was going to change the world.

It was with a somewhat nervous glance that Aspen lowered his eyes before darting them back up again. “Yeah, that was me last night. I’m sort of… trying out some new stuff.” The DJ was never entirely comfortable talking about themselves, but they tried not to shy away from recognition in and of itself.

The man was walking along the stone path in the resort grounds as he slung his leather jacket on his shoulders. It was silly enough that he was there on account of looking like a rather sad, bedraggled guest in a rather quaint, rather pleasant little resort in Copenhagen. It was worse when he was doing this completely unaware that the place was described by one as a resort that catered to sexual escapades and sexual experiences. “Way to go, Branson.” He muttered amusedly under his breath, as he walked along the path, looking around the buildings and the facilities that dotted the corridors and the outdoors.
