Sora te observa

Ella es quien entabla conversación en un estatus de equilibrio, no busca imponer solo pone las cartas sobre la mesa. Negociaciones lo mas justas que se puedan y bajo las normas permitidas.

Fred tiende a imponerse, Leia manipula con sus encantos, y ella observa analiza y sonríe. En esta ocasión un atuendo diferente pero en su color favorito el “Azul”, cada uno de ellos tiene una fortaleza y se apoyan incondicionalmente.

He de confesar que tengo un detalle recurrente en las vistas laterales al igual que los egipcios y los mexicas tiendo a usar el elemento fronto-horizontal; he tratado de corregir ese detalle, pero aun caigo ante ese detalle. De igual forma el crear esta imagen me llena de orgullo me alegra ver como he ido aprendiendo a dar volúmenes y no estancarme con un no puedo no esta perfecto o tal vez después. Crear aunque sea imperfecto es mejor que una perfecta intención no ejecutada.

Sora Observes you

She's the one who initiates the conversation, maintaining a balanced perspective. She doesn't try to impose her will, but rather lays her cards on the table. Negotiations are as fair as possible and within the established rules.

Fred tends to be assertive, Leia manipulates with her charm, and Sora observes, analyzes, and smiles.

This time, she's wearing a different outfit, but in her favorite color, "Blue." Each of them possesses a strength, and they support each other unconditionally.

I must confess that I have a recurring tendency in my side views, much like the Egyptians and the Aztecs. I tend to use the frontal-horizontal element. I've tried to correct this, but I still fall prey to it.

However, creating this image fills me with pride. I'm happy to see how I've been learning to create volume and not getting stuck with "I can't," "it's not perfect," or "maybe later." Creating, even if imperfect, is better than a perfect intention left unexecuted.

Yo Chica Mágica

Todo empezó con un prompt que vi en tik tok, empecé a hacerlo con gusto las reglas eran simples, te dibujas como chica mágica, el estilo de ropa es según tu música favorita, la paleta de colores son los de la estación en que naciste, el arma se hace inspirada según tu signo del zodiaco y el cabello si lo tienes largo lo dibujas corto.

Todo fue maravilloso ame mi moodboard donde tome las ideas para crearlo… pero el fondo… ese fondo malvado no mas no me parecía, me enloqueció intente varias formas pero, solo puedo sentir el suspiro. Es por ello que hice variaciones, pensé en dar más luces y sombras a mi avatar pero decidí no hacerlo.

Myself Magical Girl

It all started with a prompt I saw on TikTok. I happily began working on it. The rules were simple: draw yourself as a magical girl, choose your clothing style based on your favorite music, use the color palette of the season you were born in, draw your weapon inspired by your zodiac sign, and if your hair is long, draw it short.

Everything was wonderful. I loved my mood board where I gathered ideas for creating it… but the background… that evil background just didn't work for me. It drove me crazy. I tried several ways, but all I can do is sigh. That's why I made variations. I thought about adding more highlights and shadows to my avatar, but I decided against it.

Hoy ha sido un día pesado, se puede ver en la calidad de mi imagen del día, estoy estresada, con ese toque de quiero gritar…

Así que para la palabra del día que mejor ejemplifica una vacante que un se solicita… y en este caso fue un barista, porque amo el café y me imagino que ese edificio que dibuje es una cafetería.

Today has been a tough day, as you can see from the quality of my picture of the day. I'm stressed out, with that feeling of wanting to scream...

So, for the word of the day that best exemplifies a vacancy, I chose “wanted”... and in this case, it was a barista, because I love coffee and I imagine that the building I drew is a coffee shop.

29 Lección

Últimamente me he sentado a pensar en el mundo, en lo que significa crecer, lo que significa envejecer, lo que son las diferentes perspectivas de la vida o de un mismo evento a través de los recuerdos de varias personas que vivieron el evento y como todo difiere en base a como lo interpretaron.

Por otro lado, viendo el mundo y lo rápido en que se exige una respuesta, el detenerse a pensar parece un lujo, pero en si quizá sea el punto de partida para la reflexión y una diferenciación a largo plazo.

Y para algunos más que a otros se les exige pensar con criterio pero ¿Qué es el pensamiento crítico? ¿Qué es lo que tu entiendes por ello? Y ¿Qué es lo que el grueso poblacional puede decir al respecto?

¿Lo practicas? ¿Te parece algo rimbombante sacado de una de esas personas prepotentes? ¿o es que acaso simplemente no es algo que creas afecta tu vida?

Lesson 29

Lately, I've been sitting and thinking about the world, about what it means to grow up, what it means to grow old, about the different perspectives on life or on the same event through the memories of various people who lived through it, and how everything differs based on how they interpreted it.

On the other hand, seeing the world and how quickly a response is demanded, stopping to think seems like a luxury, but perhaps it's the starting point for reflection and long-term differentiation.

And some, more than others, are required to think critically, but what is critical thinking? What do you understand by it? And what does the general population have to say about it?

Do you practice it? Does it seem like something pretentious, something one of those arrogant people would say? Or is it simply something you don't think affects your life?

28 Búho y esqueleto

Generalmente para este mes suelo dibujar búhos, pues tengo en mi mente una correlación entre los búhos y la sabiduría, por otro lado, en estas fechas salen a relucir y mas para quienes somos fans de Harry Potter imaginábamos recibir nuestra carta de Hogwarts y siendo los búhos eran quienes la entregaban es grato dibujarlos.

Bueno aquí un dato curioso que encontré en un articulo del que use su fotografía como referencia para la realización de esta imagen.

28 Owl and skeleton

I usually draw owls this month because I associate owls with wisdom. Also, this time of year brings out the owl lover in me, especially since we Harry Potter fans imagined receiving our letter from Hogwarts, and owls were the ones who delivered it, so I enjoy drawing them.

Here's an interesting fact I found in an article whose photograph I used as a reference for this image.

27 Cebolla

Ahora les presento unas cebollas moradas, estuve apunto de dibujar unos taquitos al pastor, pero creo que ya los había dibujado antes y sino lo que estoy segura de haber hecho son unas enfrijoladas.

También recordé un cuento que nos conto uno de mis sobrinos cuando era muy pequeño donde hacia una metáfora con las capas de la cebolla y los sentimientos.

En si no recordamos del todo, pero daba una razón de porque la cebolla hace llorar.

27 Onion

Now I present some purple onions. I was about to draw some al pastor tacos, but I think I had already drawn them before, and if not, I'm sure I drew some enfrijoladas.

I also remembered a story that one of my nephews told us when he was very young, where he made a metaphor with the layers of an onion and feelings.

We don't remember it all, but it gave a reason why onions make you cry.

26 Desconcertante

Hay algunos momentos en la vida donde la continuidad de la normalidad se rompe, nos desconcierta y se crea esa sensación de asombro.

Existen lugares donde lo cotidiano es una completa novedad para los extranjeros.

Así como también hay lugares o eventos que permiten la mayor creación de universos alternos para múltiples historias, sin lugar a dudas el alargar esta sensación de “el sueño de una noche de verano” nos da esa magia que permite continuar con la cotidianidad.

26 Disconcerting

There are moments in life when the continuity of normality is broken, disconcerting us and creating a sense of wonder.

There are places where everyday life is completely new to outsiders.

Just as there are places or events that allow for the greatest creation of alternate universes for multiple stories, without a doubt, prolonging this feeling of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" gives us that magic that allows us to continue with everyday life.

25 Infierno

Existen múltiples versiones de él, pero en lo personal creo que nuestras mentes pueden llegar a torturarnos más de lo que le damos crédito, a veces damos vueltas a una idea una y otra vez sin buscar solución y eso si es un inferno propio.

Por otro lado esto es una metáfora en la que hablo de cómo cada quien sufre a su manera y carga sus propios pesares, hay lastres que pueden o no llevarse al siguiente plano o a veces a una etapa posterior de nuestras vidas y convertirse en nuestros grilletes, otras pensamientos rondan y nublan lo que frente a nuestros ojos está y unas tantas más uno pude encerrarse tanto en temores que se ata a si mismo ya sea metafóricamente o no y se inhibe de aquello que lo libera de expresarse, amar, soñar, crecer, o creer.

Porque a final de cuentas sin importar que religión tengas o cuales sean tus creencias esa fe o voluntad o como quieras llamarte puede ser la salvación una vez que reconoces y estás dispuesto a cambiar o avanzar.

25 Hell

There are multiple versions of it, but I personally believe our minds can torture us more than we give them credit for. Sometimes we go over an idea over and over again without looking for a solution, and that is a hell of its own.

On the other hand, this is a metaphor in which I speak of how each person suffers in their own way and carries their own sorrows. There are burdens that may or may not be carried to the next level, or sometimes to a later stage of our lives and become our shackles. Other times, thoughts hover and cloud what is right before our eyes, and many more, one can become so locked in fears that one ties oneself up, whether metaphorically or not, and inhibits oneself from that which frees one from expressing oneself, loving, dreaming, growing, or believing.

Because in the end, no matter what religion you have or what your beliefs are, that faith or will or whatever you want to call it can be salvation once you recognize it and are willing to change or move forward.

24 Bullicioso

Pensé en varias cosas para esto y a final de cuentas lo que tenía claro es que Latinoamérica es bulliciosa, las fiestas de este lado son ruidosas, muy felices y llenas de baile y color.

Pensé en mi familia nuestros festejos, cumpleaños y reuniones, la música está a tope, uno grita un tanto al hablar o va algún lado donde la música suene menos.

Pensé en nuestro folklor tanto como Mexicano como Colombiano, las flores, la gente el ambiente, quiero pensar que puedes casi sentir la música y bailar al son que mejor te plazca y escuchar el ajetreo de la gente, los saltos los giros las luces cambiando de un tono a otro, un trago aquí uno allá y la rumba sigue hasta que el cuerpo aguante.

Esa libertad de poder expresarse, de comunicarse, de bailar de sonreír a extraños y realmente desear que la pasen chingon, que disfruten tanto como tu ene ese fulgor del momento.

24 Bustling

I thought about several things for this, and ultimately what was clear to me was that Latin America is bustling. The parties on this side are noisy, very happy, and full of dancing and color.

I thought about my family, our celebrations, birthdays, and get-togethers. The music is at full blast, we shout a bit when talking or go somewhere where the music is quieter.

I thought about our folklore, both Mexican and Colombian, the flowers, the people, the atmosphere. I like to think that you can almost feel the music and dance to whatever beat you like best, and hear the hustle and bustle of the people, the jumps, the spins, the lights changing from one tone to another. A drink here, a drink there, and the party continues until your body can't take it anymore.

That freedom of being able to express yourself, to communicate, to dance, to smile at strangers, and truly wish them a great time, that they enjoy that brilliance of the moment as much as you do.

23 Luciérnaga

Lo primero en que pensé fue en el bosque de las luciérnagas en Tlaxcala ese pobre estado al que los mexicanos le hacemos bulling, porque es muy pequeñito y “nada” paso ahí (no se crean de ahí los Tlaxcaltecas grandes guerreros, ese bosque y otras curiosidades pero en general se bromea sobre el estado y como no hay nada ahí)

Luego mi hermana me pidió n bosque amarillo, y les juro lo intente si ven los previos a este iba por buen camino…

Por ultimo hablando con mi papa me conto anécdotas de su juventud donde juntaban en el campo a estos animalitos los ponían en un frasco y les servían para guiar su rumbo en las noches.

Nunca deja de asombrar como una palabra puede evocar tantas ideas.

23 Firefly

The first thing I thought of was the firefly forest in Tlaxcala, that poor state that we Mexicans bully because it's so small and "nothing" ever happened there (don't think the Tlaxcaltecas were great warriors, there is also that forest and other curiosities, but in general, people joke about the state and its nothingness).

Then my sister asked me for a yellow forest, and I swear I tried it. If you see the previous ones, I was on the right track...

Finally, talking to my dad, he told me anecdotes from his youth where they would gather these little animals in the countryside, put them in a jar, and use them to guide their way at night.

It never ceases to amaze me how one word can evoke so many ideas.

22  Medea en Botón

En 2021 para ser más exactos el día 5 de octubre, realice un diseño de personaje, fue imaginar y combinar ideas, una imagen curiosa, una sacerdotisa de Hécate, magia y boom. He de confesar que soy fan de las cosmogonías y en esta imagen que es una versión “chibi” del personaje que dibuje en 2021.

En base a lo que logre percibir los colores y demás trate de tomar los rasgos más distintivos y me pareció que parecía como una gárgola o una obra de Medusa un ser que tenía la piel de granito.

A veces los personajes te hablan entre más los dibujas y puedes irles creando o descubriendo de a poco sus peculiaridades.

22 Medea in buttom

In 2021, to be more exact, on October 5th, I did a character design. It involved imagining and combining ideas for a curious image, a priestess of Hecate, magic and boom. I must confess that I'm a fan of cosmogonies, and in this image, it's a "chibi" version of the character I drew in 2021.

Based on what I was able to perceive, the colors and such, I tried to capture the most distinctive features, and it seemed to me that she resembled a gargoyle or a work of Medusa, a being with granite skin.

Sometimes characters speak to you the more you draw them, and you can gradually create or discover their peculiarities.

21 Explosión = Coyote

Pasaron varias ideas en mi cabeza con la palabra explosión, pensé en Mérida, Yucatán con la “BOMBA” que de solo escribirla puedo imaginar el acento Yucateco, y hacer una broma enlazando eso con la caída del meteorito que fue una gran “bomba” o “explosión” en su momento (ya saben la extinción de los dinosaurios… pero hablando con mi hermana la respuesta era “El Coyote” con sus miles de productos marca ACME que siempre lo mandaban volando en una explosión.

De pequeña me preguntaba ¿Por qué no los demanda?

Pero creo que hay una razón para ello, aun así pensar por que usa esos productos, ya sea que tenga acciones de la empresa, un cliente cautivo o alguien que demando y gano una dotación de por vida de sus productos… el resultado no cambia el pobre Coyote sufre golpes, explosiones y desventuras; pero NUNCA SE RINDE así que puntos para el Coyote.

21 Explosion = Coyote

Several thoughts crossed my mind with the word explosion. I thought of Mérida, Yucatán, with the idiomatic expresion "BOMBA" Just by writing it, I can imagine the Yucatecan accent. I could make a joke linking it to the meteorite fall, which was a huge "bomb" or "explosion" at the time (you know, the extinction of the dinosaurs...). But talking to my sister, the answer was "El Coyote" (The Coyote), with his thousands of ACME brand products that always sent him flying in an explosion.

As a child, I used to wonder, "Why doesn't he sue them?" But I think there's a reason for it.

Even thinking about why he uses those products, whether he has shares in the company, a captive customer, or someone who sued and won a lifetime supply of their products... the outcome doesn't change. The poor Coyote suffers blows, explosions, and misfortunes; but HE NEVER GIVES UP, so points for El Coyote.

20 Rivales

En el mundo de donde provienen, fueron hechos prisioneros en una capsula de no tiempo y constantes viajes para desenredar las branas y poder por fin ser libres.

Lo único claro en la cosmología es que fue la familia Valkov quien los traiciono así que ellos ahora deben saldar cuentas y liberar a su mundo, quitar el velo del olvido y restaurar el tiempo para los suyos.

In the world they came from, they were imprisoned in a timeless capsule and constantly traveled to unravel the branes and finally be free.

The only thing clear in cosmology is that it was the Valkov family who betrayed them, so now they must settle the score and free their world, lift the veil of oblivion, and restore time to their loved ones.

19 Ártico

Perteneciente al gremio de Luna Eternal esta maga tiene el poder sobre el aura, puede manejar la energía y moldearla a su antojo o pelear con su lanza/báculo.

En ese mundo lleno de magia, las misiones tienen su propia clasificación y las recompensas van a de acorde al peligro.

En esta ocasión tuvo que ir al ártico y está en caída libre al sitio en que llevara a cabo su encargo.

Belonging to the Eternal Moon guild, this mage has power over the aura; she can manipulate and shape the energy as she pleases, or fight with her spear/staff.

In this magical world, missions have their own classification, and rewards are commensurate with the danger.

This time, she had to go to the Arctic, and she's in free fall to the place where she will carry out her mission.
