But Alex, you’re from the U.S.? How were you able to get your hands on these?

WELL, I follow this amazing blogger/youtuber called Modernaires. I had no idea that she was from Canada until she posted about having the Bite Loves Maple Collection. I ended up offering to swap berries for maples and TAH DAH! I ended up with two of the Bite Loves Maples and I tried this one on my first day off.  

{How it wore}

This lipstick felt even creamier than their usual formula, which is already very creamy. It smelled like and “tasted” a little bit like maple syrup upon initial application, which I was pleasantly expecting! Since this shade IS darker and bold, it did take me awhile to get it on and have it look neat. After eating, drinking, etc., this shade left a very pleasant berry stain which was beautiful in itself. My lips were not dry at ALL throughout the day and I only reapplied once the whole time I wore it!

{In short}

If you can get your hands on one or a few of these shades, I believe it is worth it. They are very creamy, have an interesting, and are a collector item for us lipstick/bite beauty fans.

Also….GO FOLLOW Modernaires! Her reviews are fantastically detailed, she’s fun to watch, and I’m so glad she agreed to swap with me :D Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’m glad you have your berries and are enjoying them!

WHAT IS THAT!? Is the 1st thing I hear when I pull this puppy out of my bag. A green lipstick? That’s crazy!

Listen guys, this thing is awesome. Basically this green lipstick is formulated so that it makes a unique pink shade based off of your body’s PH. So, it shows up different from person to person. Pretty cool huh?

{How it wore}

This lipstick feels like a gloss and leaves a beautiful stain behind that lasts all day. It swipes on elegantly and takes less than 5 seconds to apply.

Basically…HOLY GRAIL STATUS. Hence why this review is so short.

If you have money to spend, are a lipstick/makeup junky, or need a no brainer lipstick, pick this up.

I’m going to make this review short and sweet, because you know what? This shade is amazing and there’s not much else to say about it!

All of bite beauty’s lipsticks are pretty consistent in that the quality is amazing.

{How it wore}

It stays creamy the whole time you wear it and without a lip primer, it faded pretty evenly {as you can see in the last picture}

I just started using lip primers/liners, but with bite beauty and lipstick queen, I usually do not really have to worry about using one.

The best way to describe this shade is as a non terrifying Barbie pink! Being pasty, Barbie pinks usually tend to make me look very tacky and just strange. I have always envied people who can just wear a Barbie pink lip and rock it, so I am very excited to now have one that suits my skin tone and looks pretty universal! It’s not too bright, not too yellow/neon, but it’s just bold enough!

This color is no longer available, however there will be a new limited one released the first Wednesday of August! So keep a look out on sephora and bite beauty’s instagrams!
