Consider: The PK that takes over his alternative self's life after his alternative self dies ends up having to raise that dimensions Huey, Dewey, and Louie. He's similar enough to his dead counterpart but not enough to keep the triplets fooled forever. At first, they think that their uncle is just acting weird and chalk it up to Donald things. The inconsistencies add up and the triplets eventually know. This isn't their Uncle Donald. He's a Donald yes, but he's not the one who raised them.

This comic may have Scrooge at his cruelest and repentant? He heartlessly kicks Donald out of his home, but pretty much immediately regrets it. Only to do… nothing about it. Meanwhile, Donald needs something incompetent to take care of so he trades his stinky old uncle for some dirty crime boys. The real ending to this story should just be Donald and the Beagle Boys realizing they are much better off without these domineering old patriarchs around, but that’d fuck with the status quo too much.
