Avatar is such a weird anomaly.  It’s the highest grossing film EVER (not adjusting for inflation) by a huge margin and yet it left virtually no footprint on popular culture.  It had its 15 minutes of fame to the tune of $2.7 billion dollars worldwide, and within a few years it’s like no one remembers it even existed.  You only ever really see it mentioned these days in the context of its record-breaking box office.

🐝 approaching you

🌱 they want to know if you’re a flower, a threat, or neither ! don’t swat or get too close to their hive, and you’re not a threat.

🐝 landing on you (often you can see her cleaning herself, if you watch carefully)

🌱 she’s either tired or, on the rare occasion, deciding to sting you. don’t squish her !!! she’s probably just chillin with you, but if you want her off, blow her off. she’ll fall and fly away !

🐝 buzzing becomes high pitched

🌱 think angry bees in a cartoon. you can actually hear the change ! this means they’re getting agitated

🐝 circling your head

🌱 this is a warning that you’re being threatening and you need to leave ! calmly move away from the hive or the bee.

I wish i could find this one article written in I believe the 90’s that went under the radar on abortion. The author said that the “life” arguments are basically useless on either side and what actually matters is that humans shouldn’t have a right to use other human bodies as a resource without consent no matter how alive or sentient they are, even if they’re on the brink of death you have the right to deny them access to you.
