It has been a most incredible Christmas with my tiny family. Full of photos I never thought I would be able to take. Moments I never thought I would be able to have. It was truly a beautiful thing. Aria saw her first snow. Had her first Christmas and wore her first dress. We dipped her toe in the first show for a lifetime of good luck. Hey guys! Look what I made! My greatest work of art. We are extatic to announce our newest family member….. Aria Ivy Dobbs (Are-ee-ugh) Our little Italian sonnet 🙂 Born August 21st 9:09pm 20.5” 6lbs 15oz This baby is a miracle after all the years of being told it would never happen for us. An entire decade later, holding her in my arms feels like a dream and I am still in shock she is here. While Tyler and I were dating, we discovered we had chosen the same names for our future children. We’ve been holding on to this one all this time and it feels amazing to finally give this to her. She is quiet and peaceful. She has Tyler’s eye shape and all the Italian body hair she would need to keep her warm in a blizzard lol. She loves being held and was an instant daddy’s girl. We are doing well. I am recovering quickly and was able to have an unmedicated birth with no complications. Labor happened so quickly that we are still in a whirlwind of surprise. She came early but it worked out well. What a crazy ride it’s been. I can’t believe it. Yesterday was our 10 year wedding anniversary. We have been through so much. More than most couples that have been together much longer than us. And at the end of a decade, I’m finally healthy after fighting for so long , and we have a baby coming soon! Two things doctors told us couldn’t happen. We both have our own businesses and we are planning a future instead of just fighting to survive. We made an album and a ton of singles. We made a music video and did a West Coast Tour. He kept me safe. He fought for me. He loved me even when it was hard and he still stands by my side. He has made so many of my dreams come true. Things that never would have happened without him holding my hand and sometimes literally holding me up. On the days I couldn’t stand, he carried me. On the days I couldn’t speak, he knew what I needed. On the days I was ready to give up, he didn’t. 10 years sometimes feels like 100. Other days, I look back on these photos and can’t believe it wasn’t yesterday. Our dreams haven’t changed in all that time and in all the struggle we achieved so much together. Against impossible odds. I love you honey. Thank you for staying by my side through hell so we can reach our dreams together. It’s been a long road but we survived.
