Books, oatmeal, tea, oh my! ☕️ • • • There are two important items in this picture that I would like to call attention to: the book and the tea! First, I received “The Hazel Wood” by @melissaalbertauthor in the @owlcrate “Hidden Worlds” themed February box and I’m obsessed. It’s the first book I’ve read in a while that I just cannot put down. It’s dark, mysterious, has creepy imagery, and is SO reminiscent of Grimm Fairy Tales (which I love). If that sounds right up your alley, I highly recommend it! • • • Secondly, the tea is from @riddlesteashoppe and it is their delicious Sherbet Lemon tea! Aside from the fact that the flavor of their teas are superb, they’re themed after some of your favorite fandoms so that’s a super fun plus! Happy Valentine’s Day to all of my single friends AND all of my friends in a relationship! But truthfully, at the end of the day, the most important person to love is - you guessed it -YOURSELF! Everything starts and ends with how you treat yourself. I’ve been through my fair share of relationships as a love-struck teenager to know that now haha 🙄 But I’m so glad it went through all of that because you learn SO much from heartbreak. I still LOVE and cherish my alone time with a book, Netflix, a donut 🍩, or my pets! There’s nothing wrong with taking yourself on some nice dates to the movies (yes, the movies. I used to do it all the time! 😉) or lunch! Go ahead, spend time & money on yourself and don’t even think about feeling ashamed of it! Self-care is unbelievably important.
