You… you think the original winx show is garbage? Why do you even make content for it then???

because I still like it? it's that simple lol

I can acknowledge Winx Club as a franchise is incredibly flawed and badly-written and still derive entertainment and enjoyment out of it because CONCEPTUALLY it is hella fun and interesting even if the actual EXECUTION of it sucks ass. The world of Winx is EXTREMELY fun to play around with, pull it and twist it this way and that to see what you make of it, the characters are rife with potential to do plenty of things with and the concept of infinite transformations just tickles my love for magical girl designs. It's a creative person's dream - a franchise with a lot of excellent concepts that they do fuckall with, so you, the fan, can then play around in all that and pick whatever pieces you want out of it and toss out the ones you don't want. It's fun!

Something can be one of the greatest pieces of media and I can still fucking hate it, and something can be a pretty garbage show about modern fairies and I can still love it. They aren't mutually exclusive thoughts or feelings - if I didn't love or like Winx enough, the AU would've never happened! So yeah lol

something I just realized that makes what f*te did to Aisha even worse is that not only was Aisha a more complex character but she was fully the deuteragonist. Aisha was the only girl who could ever rival blooms importance and f*te couldn’t stand that a black girl was the second most important character and the most interesting.
