How to Easily Solve the Linear Equations?
In mathematics, equation means a statement which contains one or more than one variables, and we have to find the value of these variables. The variables are those quantities which also called the unknowns and when these values are find and balance the equation are called solutions of the equations. There are so many types of equations we have in mathematics.
Linear equations are the equations whose values are to be put on the graphs between two variables and give a straight line when plotted. The terms in linear equations are either a constant or the product of a single variable. For example in the equation
ay + b =0
In this equation “a” and “b” are constants and a is not equal to zero. In linear equations constants can be numbers or can be letters or even they can be symbols as well. Linear equations can also have more than one variable like in
ax + by +cz =0
In this linear equation “a”, “b” and “c” are the constants and these three are not equal to zero.
A linear equation in two variables is always a relationship in which the value of one variable is always depending upon the value of another variable. These constants can also be called as the real numbers. Linear equations are less complicated structure than algebraic equations which have the square or cube roots. Thus linear equations are the simplest form of the equation you can deal with.
Example: y=2x+7
This equation is linear because it will give a straight line when it will be plotted on the graph. In mathematics, the theory of linear equations is the fundamental part of modern and computational algorithms to find the solution of numerical linear algebra. Linear equations are the important part of mathematics especially of applied mathematics as they are particularly useful in many fields of mathematics as most nonlinear equation also be converted into linear equations for its effectiveness. Thus all those equations which have the sum of their exponents is one are linear and which have their sum greater than one are nonlinear equations. Linear equations can be divided into their kinds like if a linear equation has one variable, it will be called one variable equation and if it has two variables then it will be called two variable equations and if it has more than one variable than it will be called multi variables equation.
Linear equation are easy to learn because of their non-complex structures, and these equations are included in the syllabus of high school students because in advance study of mathematics they have to study the more complex form of these equations so the base of students can be well built to make them analytical thinkers. To solve linear equations and then plot its answers on the graph is really interesting and easy for those who are well aware by their solution techniques. On graphs the positive and negative values both can be plotted and always give the straight lines in both x and y sections.
