Knife Crime
"Knife crime hits highest level since records began."
“The Home Office and government response on knife crime and other rising crimes is still far too weak and just doesn’t match the scale of the problem."
“The problem of violent crime is going to get worse unless the government acts, and it is families and communities across the country who are paying a terrible price.”

poetry is a prayer
written in silence
that you hope
someone hears
Something different. Starting a new challenge of writing poems from a prompt or how I feel that day. I've never wrote a poem so this will definitely be challenging and interesting to do.

growth is a process - rupi kaur
It's a slow process writing a story. However, quiting won't be able to speed that process up. If you genuinely love what you do, stopping will never be an option, even if what you started doesn't end the way you first imagined. It's a process called perseverance. It's perseverance that really matters and not perfection.

“You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world...but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices." "Some infinities are bigger than other infinities."

"Physical beauty is passing - a transitory possession - but beauty of the mind, richness of the spirit, tenderness of the heart - I have all these things - aren't taken away but grow! Increase with the years!"
"I don't want realism. I want magic!"
"...most writers, and most other artists, too, are primarily motivated in their desperate vocation by a desire to find and to separate truth from the complex of lies and evasions they live in, and I think that this impulse is what makes their work not so much a profession as a vocation, a true calling."
