To the few people who follow this Tumblr, I'm happy to announce I'm not dead. With that out of the way, let's move on to this not so little gem. Not so little, because it has actually got multiple chapters. Now what do we do when we cannot find any plausible reason for Allen to fall madly in love with Road in canon, other than love at first sight, which, let's face it, seems like a rather weak excuse when you take in the fact she tortured his friends and stabbed him the eye (Of course like any other devoted Roallen shipper, I will draw notice to the scenes where Road saves Allen in Kanda's memories, where she kisses him, where she takes a rather nasty punch for him and where Allen seems to be slightly blushing, in the anime, when he caresses Road's cheek as she's dying, sort of). So what do you do? Enter the AU. Now we have those awkward, murderous moments out and when that AU is written by someone named 'Jet Classics' (I would read it just for that. Jet Classics. What a name. What. A. Name), you can find the notion of good boy Allen falling madly, irrevocably in love with the bad girl Road at first sight very much plausible. And we like that very much. Because that's our otp. Also because it's plausible. A plausible otp situation. "But you can do that with pretty much any ol AU. So why peddle this?" you might ask. Because my darling peeps, any old AU fic can't boast of a juicy, hot lem...uh, I mean, can't boast of a lovey dovey poem in every chapter supported by so much fluff you will want to keel over and die and so much authentic uncertainty and hesitation on Allen's part that you'll find yourself wondering if Jet Classics has a camera hidden around you somewhere and having a jolly good time with your antics. That's how much of a real young adult Allen was in this one. Some of you, those old world chivalrists, may find that Allen's love for Road seems a bit too much rooted in lust, but come on! When isn't it? On the whole, the writing is okay, it's well fluffed, well poem-ed, well citrused and most of all... It actually feels a little relatable. And that my friends, I believe is something of a rarity when you're writing fanfiction about Manga. And for that and the fact that this was written by Jet Classics (God, what a name!) I would say this deserves a read, a review and lots of love. Of course, we don't care about any of that and all we really need is to see Allen x Road somewhere in the general vicinity of the fic, but there is something known as decorum, ya know.

What is this, my friends? This fanfic, which goes by the name of 'Window' written by the enigmatic 'Plumei'? One of my friends once told me that she hated Allen x Road fics that left the end sorta hanging. With no clear end. But if that were not so, would we all be able to wallow in angst and intangible hope to our heart's content? Would we be able to gang our nails with a sinking feeling in our bellies? And so I present to you this little one shot written by 'Plumei' which, plot wise goes nowhere, as can be expected from a one shot, but is so well written, with deeper meaning and subtlety and loads and loads of mushy mushy fluff that I could read this all day long! As always, leave reviews for the author to munch on.

To be honest I find it really ironic that Neah, who’s the Noah of Destruction and did some pretty fucked up shit has a beautiful wheat field as his inner world, and then there’s Allen who couldn’t hurt a fly and always sees some post-apocalyptic scene of disaster.

Alright, firstly, this fanfic is a wonderful example of why you should read the author’s notes at the top and follow them, because I skipped it and boy, it was horrible. As the title suggests, this was written by someone, a someone called Anomandris, who was bored and decided to substitute all the l’s and r’s with w’s which make it sound as if everything is being spoken by little, gap toothed children. Which is wonderful if you read it aloud, or get somebody to read it aloud for you, prefewably in a high pitched voice. Else it’s Hell. As for the story itself, it’s AU, but cute, lots of cute, because, come on people, we’re talking Allen x Road here.
