every kiss Neil gave Andrew was just a little more desperate than the last, because he knew that, sooner or later, one of them would be the last time he’d ever feel Andrew’s lips against his own. he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving even a single kiss unfinished. he really kissed Andrew as though it were a fight with his life on the line. the only thing that mattered was knowing that, whatever happened, he’d chosen to spend his final moments kissing Andrew.

I feel like Andrew and neil would both be pretty subtle about their relationship. Like, neil isn't big on pda. Neither is Andrew. Though, they definitely can sense when the other leaves a certain area of closeness to each other. Like neil will walk away from Andrew and after neil leaves the four foot mark Andrew can just sense that a certain ginger loudmouth is gone and looks to see where he went, and same the other way around for neils blonde menace.
