Luv, hello! I've been on a bit of a Drarry hiatus for a few months (rediscovered an old fave ship [hem hem sterek] and explored a new one [uh where had snarry been hiding??] and just general life busy-ness). I want to jump back in but I'm kind of overwhelmed by all that I've missed! I don't even know what kind of fic I want to read. Do you have any recs for me of something new (since the beginning of the year, maybe?) and long enough for me to really sink my teeth into it? Sorry this is a bit vague! Thank youuuuu

As for new long fics, the only one I’ve had the chance to finish recently was Nights With You by @the-sinking-ship (E, 58k) and We Are the Champions by pir8fancier (E, 36k), loved them! Huge recs. Here are some others from my to-read list. I’m sure my followers will be able to share more recs :)

His neglect by the hand of his relatives a secret from his teachers. His magical abilities from the world he grew up in. His quest to save the Wizarding world from those he was meant to be saving. What is the weight of keeping one more secret from those he loves?
But secrets or not, Harry also lives with choice now – and that’s what has changed. He feels sure that this is a path that he has chosen. He has chosen to walk the streets of London under the cover of the dark, and he has chosen to keep that choice hidden from everyone who knows him.

“I’ve been hearing some interesting tales about you,” Harry says, relaxed from the wine and dinner. “From sharks to Aurors to Quidditch heroics… And many other versions over the years. Do you ever tell people the true story?”
“So that they can sell it to the tabloids?” Malfoy replies indignantly. “I think not, Potter.”
Harry looks at him. “You know, I really don’t expect you to tell me. I haven’t done anything to earn your story. But I just wanted to say that I know something about secrets, Malfoy.”
“Ah, yes. The hippogriff in the room.”
Harry notes his sweaty palms. He expected the conversation to get here. He thinks he wants to share with Malfoy, but the thought of it has his heartrate ratcheting up. “What do you know?”

The first chapter of my first Drarry fanfic is up!
I can't believe I'm jumping back into writing fanfic after not writing a single creative word since 2015. I've been surprised to find myself in the Drarry fandom for a year now, and I wanted to give back to the fandom, in a way.
I really hope people like this - Healer!Draco and Teacher!Harry with a side of secret identities.
It's a WIP but I have 15,000 words already written and the ending is set, so it will not be abandoned!
