along with a plethora of other cool things, i always wanted to be an animator. when i was a little girl i was so fascinated with it. from the weird claymation shows on nickelodeon to nightmare before christmas. i used to make my own little shorts in high school. i know so much hard work goes into it that i can’t help but pay attention to all the details in films i watch. rather than just watching, i acknowledge and imagine all the work it took. one of my favorite animators is david firth. he does weird creepy shit with pig heads and fake blood. there’s one called “Crooked Rot” and it’s amazing work. i’ll try to post it here
