I just woke up from a dream with Jay in it and we were in his house with Kayla and a few other kids who were my newer friends (but I don't know them IRL) and Caitlin was in it too and she got to meet him. Something had happened to where time got reversed and he got to spend a few more days with us and he came and walked through the door to his house where Kayla and Caitlin and I were talking and I remember hugging him right away and saying that I couldn't believe it was him and how much I missed him and he didn't know. He said he missed my jokes and I could see what he looked like and actually hear his voice!! I remember looking at him and Kayla as we stood by the Carps kitchen and just took a minute to appreciate the moment because in the dream we knew time would be fast-forwarded again and he wouldn't be with us anymore. His presence lasted for all of thirty seconds, but the fact that I got to see him as he was and hear exactly his voice as I remember means so much to me. It was a bittersweet treat, but I'll take it every time if it means getting to hang with my friend again. Missin you always little bro.
