Nerve pain is a powerful source of inspiration when you’re an artist for a living. The dread I experienced and still experience to this day because of it. I got surgery for ulnar nerve damage on my right elbow, but I still have cts in both hands and pain in my left elbow as well. I think in the back of my brain there is hope for an end to this, but deep down I kinda know its going to stick with me forever.

btw I’ve found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:

Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!

especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it’s really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)

Im absolutely obsessed with the hc that taako subconsciously did his hair and dressed like lup during the years he had forgotten her because it was familiar to him in some way and made him feel comfortable but he didn't know why. @the McElroy brothers, Give me more taako angst

Thank you!! I appreciate that, I feel like taako could be a way deeper character than the canon, and the “taako unconsciously missing lup” hc is one of my absolutes faves

oh wow, the Ambivalences trailer was beautiful! Was that all animated by you, or did you share the work? Do you go to art school in France? SO MANY QUESTIONS

Hi! Sorry for answering super late, but I always forget to check messages here ;-; but YES the ambivalences trailer is all animated by me, black ink on white paper, then I switched to negative and recolored the whole thing (a lot of masks on after effect) 

I do go to art school on France, it’s actually an animation film making school, and it’s loads of fun (and tears and blood like any other art school I guess ahah!)

I really had fun doing this one and experimenting with ink and 2d animation. 

This is also the proof that spontaneous movies are usually the ones that you cringe a little bit less on when watching them again. you may even like them sometimes.

abt TAZ tags

It’s maybe my favourite thing, and when I get some free time I like to browse the reblogs of the taz fanart I made to see what people write in it. Sometimes I manage to read some good good suggestions, great ideas for new fanarts, or just really nice commentary that make me smile every time.

But today...

Today I found out I could actually READ ALL OF THEM IN A LIST by clicking on the “#” symbol near the number of notes for each post.

AND THERE’RE SO MANY I MISSED I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!! S o  m u c h good content, my heart melted. I spent an hour reading all of them in almost each taz post I made over the year, I’m filled with joy!!

Thank you so much everyone, and sorry for being super dumb and not realising it sooner. I appreciate every single one of you beautiful creatures <3 This literally made my day and made me appreciate tumblr a little bit more
