I don't post a lot about Ukraine or political stuff anymore because my days are more filled now than they were couple years ago.
Regardless of how much I post or how actively I reblog, offline I'm invested in following the progression of Ukraine's situation.
Finnish president Alexander Stubb said to Helsingin Sanomat on Feb 24th 2025
“If we now let Russia do what it wants to do, then not only will Ukraine lose, but so will Europe and the United States,”
“If Russia gets what it wants now, it won’t end in Ukraine, but Putin will continue.”
And I fully agree. Ukraine is fighting for its right to exist but it's also fighting for the rest of Europe. This is a war against tyranny and deep-rooted imperialism.
There can be no concessions. There can not be security for Ukraine if Russia gets even an ounce of victory.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy sums it up in his speech at the “Support Ukraine” plenary session:
“This year must be the year when real, lasting peace begins. Putin will not grant us this peace and will not hand it over in exchange for something. We must win peace through strength, wisdom, and unity – through our cooperation with you,”
Please do not forget Ukraine 🇺🇦 Слава Україні!
