Letâs Talk About Spark
Are we not going to talk about what this poor man will have to go through when he finally meets the heroes?
Where do I even begin? He built Dagrun himself to impress Ianite. And then, here comes his own alternate, blowing it up in many different ways. Someoneâs going to have to tell him that the town he spent so long building and caring for is gone, drained of quintessence.
Someoneâs going to have to tell him about how the Taint Ianite released, and how it killed his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Someoneâs going to have to tell him that his own son blamed Ianite for it, and pretended she didnât even exist for the rest of his life. Someoneâs going to have to tell him about how his wife was cast aside and abandoned by the citizens of the town he built for her.
Someoneâs going to have to tell him that the scars on his grandson came from the orders of Helgrind. Someoneâs going to have to tell him that his own grandson was abused for believing in the goddess he loved.Â
And, of course, someoneâs going to have to tell him that Ianite is completely gone, because she was killed by her own father. Heâs going to hear about everything his poor daughter Martha has had to go through all this time.
Just to mention a few things. Â
