Love & War || Open
“Need I remind you of Nineveh?” Jordan teased, leaning forward so that his elbows rested on his knees. “I seem to remember you hiding then. What was his name? Jidha? Jedon? He was quite fond of you. I wonder who put it into his head that you two were mates?” He added, his eyes wide with innocence.
“Are you really bringing that old history again?” she asked, a small smirk tugging at her lips as she shook her head. Aly clearly remembered that time, the almost puppy-dog look the young man had on his face as he followed her around. “And his name was Jidhu. You should remember that, seeing as how much time you spent teasing him,” she said, shaking her head once more since she was not fooled for a second with his innocence act. Aly had seen this look one too many times from him. “What I remember was my father and how annoyed he was when Jidhu would try to join my training group,” she said, the memory of her father bringing a pain to her heart still. But she worked to keep it from her expression, trying to keep the conversation light.
“No, I just like being able to unwind with everyone else.”
“I’m glad to see some camaraderie between you and the others. How have you been spending your time off?”
“Exactly! Although I’ll take just about any reason.”
“Are you truly feeling that over worked?”

Jordan dropped his head back on the bench and looked upside down at Aly. “Always. Where have you been hiding?” He asked, not waiting to get prodded any further. He was particularly volatile these days and Aly was one of the last people he wanted to lose it with.
She walked around the bench so she would be standing in front of Jordan, saving him the trouble of having to view her upside down. “I haven’t been hiding,” she said with a shake of her head. Spending time to herself, trying to gather her thoughts and reconcile with her father’s death? Yes. Hiding? She would never admit to that. “I never hide.”

“If you think I’m being unfair, wait until you meet my sister.” Jordan warned. Though his tone was amused, there was no laughter in his eyes as he leaned back in the bench and spread his arms out along the back.

She watched interaction end as she walked closer to them, seeing that the warning of Adriana had been enough for the person to leave Jordan alone. “Having fun socializing?” she asked when she got closer.
Party Poopers || Damon & Aly
“They never appreciate anything we do from them.” Damon smirked but his words came out in more of a growl. “Ungrateful, really.” The building he was firing at began to crumble and flames erupted from the rubble. He’d burn the whole city down if that meant flushing out the Government and Resistance. The Originals and those they protected could always find a new home. Hell, they’ve been doing it for thousands of years, but their enemies had no where else to run. Turning up the heat on them would be the only way to let them know how screwed they were.
There was a part of Aly, a smaller but vocal part, that wondered what her father would think of how she was acting now. He was gone from this world, no thanks to the Atlanteans they had all been welcoming to the surface. But...Did that mean she couldn’t uphold his memory? Would he approve of this? Spotting a group of humans, she watched them for a long moment before realizing they were huddled together and planning something. What, she had no idea. But she recognized the body language and even though they stood no chance against her and Damon, she sent a surge their way and blasted the ground right next to them, sending them scattering away from each other. Maybe her father would not approve of this, but these were the people directly or indirectly involved in fighting against the Originals and potentially harming the Second Generation she was protecting. She wouldn’t have it happen. “It’s only when you take away their privileges that they realize how good they had it. But, I don’t think they realize it just yet.”
Ghost of You
“Indeed.” Vincent had his own issues with Jack and his insubordination and unlike what many might think he had nothing to do with his relationship with Mina. He’d overstepped his bounds with the Beletum and he’d believed the man had little regard for anyone unless it benefited him, but none of that mattered now that he had been murdered. “I know that the Second Generation cared for him a lot.”
Though Vincent had said nothing of the sort, Aly had been more than aware of the tension between her father and the other clan. Her father talked with her about almost everything, including his thoughts and suspicions. But it did ease her own grief slightly to know that despite whatever had been happening, it had been set aside in the wake of his murder. “They did. Quite a bit,” she said, thinking of the Second Generation. “I can only hope they will be able to make such connections with the rest of us.”

“The celebration of Vincent and Mina’s children would be a great reason.”
Ghost of You
Vincent chuckled as he looked up to where Aly had glanced. “I’m sure this placed looked much different back then.” He crossed his arms over his chest and took in a deep breath of the fresh air, smelling the salt spray from the sea. “I’m glad we were able to bring everyone that wanted to pay their respects with us.”
"It does," she said, looking around them. Signs of modern civilization was everywhere, even though much of it lay in ruins. "It was much more wild, more...free," she added, glancing to Vincent before returning her gaze to the sea. She showed no outward emotion when her father's memorial was indirectly brought up, but on the inside her heart seemed to clench. It was easier to ignore everything that had happened back in New York. But now that they were bringing her father home...It was a different story. "My father touched many lives. It would have been a shame if those who mourned him would not have been able to join us."
Party Poopers || Damon & Aly
“Beautiful!” Damon laughed as the car burst into flames and crashed down into the party goers. Everyone scattered and ran for cover. Damon lifted another car and tossed it the same way. “You know what they are missing? A little campfire.” He built up his surge and hit a smaller building with no lightning rod, lighting it on fire.
She watched as everyone started running, laughing along with Damon. Aly could be kind, cheerful, friendly. If she was in the right company. But this group had pushed too much, too hard and she was quite literally tired of playing “Mr. Nice Guy” when it came to tolerating their presence. Using her telekinesis, she flipped over sheds, cars and even a bench to keep the people below them from finding proper cover. “We’re trying to liven up their party, but they don’t seem to be enjoying it. I have no idea why,” she said, feigning a look of innocent confusion as she looked to Damon.
Ghost of You
original-vincent-smith:
Vincent’s time in Morocco had always been limited. His conquests when he had first taken over his clan had been mainly concentrated in what the humans had referred to as the Middle East and then he moved them into Greece and Rome, leaving the African continent to one of the few other clans he respected. It was unfortunate that it took a tragedy to bring them all here. He decided to take an afternoon to himself, just to take the place in fully but when he saw Aly, he started to head over to express his condolences. “I can see why.”
She hadn’t expected to see Vincent wandering about on his own, especially so soon after the twins’ birth and his injuries. But she didn’t question him about it, figuring he would know how to spend his time while they were out here. “It’s beautiful,” she said, looking back to the waves. Aly supposed he had found her to offer some sympathy over what had happened. They were here for her father’s memorial after all. But pity had never been a feeling she ever let herself accept. “When I was first learning to fly, I tried to fly over this same beach,” she said, eyeing the spot several hundred yards from them where she had lost control and plummeted into the ocean.

“I was hoping you’d say that.” Damon smirked and lowered himself down to just above street level. Although they couldn’t get passed the Government’s border they didn’t really have to to inflict damage on their enemies. He lifted his hand, lifting a car with his telekinesis and tossing it toward the party.
There was an answering smirk tugging on her lips as she lowered herself down closer to Damon’s level. She watched the car fly through the air, her head tilted to the side a bit. She had been patient, as patient as she could be, and had wanted to work to integrate humans more into the new world they were building. But this was starting to go to far. As the car started falling towards the party, Aly blasted it with one of her surges, causing the car to explode. “There’s no party without some fireworks.”

ALY IBORI: ORIGINAL
“Whatever will happen will happen, but choose your companions with care. Choose them because you like to look at them and you like the sound of their voices, and they have profound secrets in them that you wish to know. In other words, choose them because you love them. Otherwise you will not be able to bear their company for very long.”

PAST
Aly was Adriana’s best resource in their endeavor to train the new projects Vincent had been growing. All she had to do was have Jack join her in New York, and Aly would follow closely behind. The young woman was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. A very skilled tactician and negotiator, Aly was more than just a pretty face. However, she used her looks to her advantage. No one suspected the bright and cheery model to be a ruthless murderer. She would do whatever she was commanded, and she was going to train the Second Generation to have the same mentality. Outside of being a soldier, Aly was the kindest person one could ever meet. With a spring in her step, she was forever the optimist and always pleased to see those she liked to be around. But just as easy as it was to get on her good side, once a person landed on her bad side, they were burned.
PRESENT
In addition to aiding Damon Smith’s force by keeping the Viceroy under control, Aly worked with Kieran Linwood in developing the Second Generations powers and putting them to good use. Additionally, she worked with her adoptive father in protecting and training the Second Generation both with their powers and physically. They were the ground troops of the Originals, and a key point in the Originals’ hold on the city. She loved having the power and control that the Originals had taken back since the rise of Atlantis, and she couldn’t wait to see what Atlantis would bring to the modern world.
Aly’s world came crashing down thanks to Atlantis, the city she believed would be their salvation. When her father died she wanted one thing and would go to any lengths to get revenge. A tip off and help from an unlikely source, the queen of the Beletum clan, ensured that Jack Madsen’s killer was destroyed by her own hands. Although Aly had no doubt that Kino deserved his fate she wished that it never happened in the first place. Killing another Original was a serious matter even when the murder was just. She wondered what her father would have said about her actions knowing the she committed the act without permission from their leader, Adriana Rhodes. It was something she’d never know and could only speculate about. What she did know was that her father would want to carry on his work with the Second Generation. Aly didn’t mind working with them and training, but she couldn’t help wanting a bit more action to distract herself from her loss.
Their work at Madison Square Garden might be just what she needed to push forward through the darkest time in her life. After the revolt in New York had gone so far as to cause the Originals to lose the Viceroy it was clear that they needed more protection. The Second Generation were a valuable asset, but the Originals had entered a time of war that looked like it would be fought on two fronts. Their police force needed to evolve. Working alongside the other Originals, they began to form an elite group of specialized soldiers. This group was much more powerful and much more ruthless than the police force ever had to be. They were fighting more than just humans. It was clear that their enemies had powerful allies all over the globe, and if the Originals wanted to prosper than they could show no mercy.
CONNECTIONS
Lillie Ward: Both had experienced a big shift in attitude during the revolt, but they also both refused to address it. Aly was more focused than ever, and if Lillie wanted to let her emotions get the best of her than she’d get lost in the fray. Aly hoped that she’d be able to help stop that from happening like her father would want.
Nara: Aly would never trust anyone from Atlantis let alone their new ruler. She understood that Adriana couldn’t manage Atlantis along with her other responsibilities, but wished they would have chosen one of their own to rule the city, someone they could trust.
Blake Hawkins: Blake had no idea the inferno he had stepped into when he bumped into Aly after she had learned of her father’s death. But being a quick learner, Blake was lucky enough to escape with his life. Although he didn’t fear the woman he knew better than to find himself on her bad side again.

Ghost of You
It felt odd to be back here now. She had grown up here, been raised and trained in this country. But her father’s presence has always been associated with this place. Though she supposed that his presence was still attached to her reason for coming here, even if he wasn’t physically with her. Looking out to the ocean, she was lost in thought until the sound of someone approaching dragged her back to the present. Glancing back over her shoulder, she started speaking even as she turned to look back at the waves. “The coastline has always been a popular spot here.”
