PTSD

It sucks having been though a situation that leaves you with PTSD. It's been 3 years since that event for me and here I am with the person who treats me like a queen feeling an overwhelming amount of emotions.

Flashbacks of everything going down the way they did and feeling a sense of fear and an overwhelming amount of anxiety that it's impossible to clear my head of the memories and idea that it could happen again. Then it starts consuming me with thoughts of inadequacy and self-blame.

Even though I know I'm in a healthy and happy relationship sometimes the past hits me like a ton of bricks to the chest.

Today was a hectic parking day. If I ever go back to Vancouver I will not be taking a car. It's entirely too stressful and unnecessary. This picture is to remind me to be grateful for easy parking that Utah offers. Heather and I had to search for the car twice today (the first search being the worst).
