I thought up an AU where Doffy basically developed the ability to body hop via sewing his brain into people’s heads, Kenjaku JJK style.

Although Doflamingo intended to use this ability on Law, Luffy pissed him off so badly during Dressrosa that the rubber man ended up on the receiving end instead. Plot ensues, they get stuck like this, and the Straw Hats have to put up with Doffy until they find a way to get rid of the evil bird man without hurting Luffy.
