guys can we PLEASE bring back having actual fashion styles.

i’m tired of walking into every store and seeing the same tank top 30 times in slightly different shades of beige. i’m tired of every pair of pants being the same grey sweatpants. i’m tired of living in what feels like a post-apocalyptic world where every outfit is black, white, cream, taupe, greige, or whatever new neutral they've invented this week.

where are the colors?

where are the babydoll tops with polka dots? the low-rise jeans? the ridiculous oversized hats? the funky purses? the skirts that actually have personality? where are the clothes that look like someone had FUN designing them?

i don't want my wardrobe to look like a minimalist apartment.

i want bright pink. i want lime green. i want weird patterns. i want outfits that make people stop and stare for a second. i want to dress like the main character in a 2000s movie who spends way too much time at the mall.

and before anyone says "just shop vintage" i would LOVE to. unfortunately i do not have $300 to spend on a single shirt that somebody found in their grandmother's attic.

please. let me be childish. let me be ridiculous. let me wear polka dots and bows and sparkles and colors without having to search through seventeen thrift stores and sell a kidney.
