Well, being alone in outer space with Diana certainly wasn’t the worst thing. It was certainly better than being out here all alone. Sitting up a bit straighter, Hal grinned a bit at the Amazonian goddess. And she was that. Maybe it was his natural cocky nature, or perhaps it was something else. Whatever the reason, Hal found this absolutely acceptable.
"Oh, no, I’m certain we can handle anything that could happen. After all, the might of the Green Lantern Corps in one hand, the strength of a goddess. Do we really need anyone else?" This is the part where he would lean against something, show off his arms, his eyes, his hair. Maybe his ass, but that might be a difficult depending on the angle. "We could win any fight. Hell, we could win a beauty contest. Well I know you could."
Diana took the seat next to Hal at the controls, cupping her coffee mug in both her slender hands and sipping sparingly. She certainly didn't mind his company... He was more like the friend you bring around to break the ice, or make you laugh; although, most of the time his sense of humor escaped her.
As he went on, Diana eventually glanced his way with an unreadable expression. "Beauty contest? Men participate in such things?" Her face twisted just a bit. She accepted Hal's mark of extreme flattery and moved past it. "I wonder what the others are doing right now. If Bruce has more interesting plans than us, I shall be worried." It was a show of her own light humor, her lips quirking upward at the corners.
