So I have owned Splatoon for 2 days and already am so obsessed with this game that I just had to have a go at crocheting a squid of my own to keep me company during turf wars :D
Definitely a work-in-progress pattern, especially the eyes, but I’m really happy with how this little guy came out considering he only took less than 2 hours :) Let me know what you guys think about him <3

New Leaf Wifi Games
hey friends!! since acnl prom is upon us and some people will be hangin with people they’ve never wifi’d with before, i thought i’d redo my CF list of wifi games so that when you’re wifiing and maybe don’t know what to do, you don’t have to panic! these are just a few of my favorites c:
HIDE ‘N’ SEEK Players: 2+ Materials Needed: 1 timer How to Play:
Set the timer to 3 minutes so everyone can hide
If people can only hide outside, set the timer to 10 minutes
If people can hide inside too, set the timer to 15 minutes
‘It’ tries to find everyone
The first person found is ‘it’ the next round
If nobody is found, the person who was ‘it’ is ‘it’ again
Can also be played without the timer, and just goes until everyone is found
Can also be played on Main Street
SARDINES (My favorite!) Players: 3+ Materials Needed: 1 timer How to Play:
The person who is 'it’ hides somewhere in the town
They start the timer once they’re hidden to start the game and then shut the timer off (game isn’t timed, it’s just used to show when the hider is ready)
The game can be played only outside, only inside, or inside and outside, OR inside the buildings on Main Street
The Museum is a good place to play for speedy rounds
Everyone tries to find the person who is it
Once you find 'it’, you hide with them
The last person to find ‘it’ is it next round
MARCO POLO Players: 2+ Materials Needed: Timer How to Play:
The person who is ‘it’/’Marco’ goes inside a house and starts the timer for 3 minutes so the other players can hide, like hide and seek
‘Marco’ calls out “Marco!” and all players MUST type back “Polo!”
Players hiding can move around as much as they want, but wherever they are, they HAVE to reply when ‘it’ calls out
Easier to play outdoors since the seeker can see where the speech bubbles indicate players are
The next person to be ‘it’ is the first person found
The round can end once one person is found, or when everyone has been found
NOTE: For games that use timers, you don’t necessarily HAVE to use timers, the person who is ‘it’ can count themselves and just call out 30 second warnings or something
so those are just three games that are easy and fun to play, and don’t require any prior set up! you can find some more games in my cf guide, and some more here! enjoy! c:

MY FAVOURITE DREAM VISIT!
When I came across this dream address, I absolutely knew I had to give it a go! Since I first found out about bushes in new leaf, I’ve always wanted a ‘hedge maze’.
This maze was so much fun to work through, and I loved the added goal to collect the 0-9 lamps. It kept me thoroughly entertained for quite a while which is something I don’t find in many towns (no offense to anyone, I think there are so many stunning towns out there, but I love having something to do).
