In Copenhagen you can visit The Round Tower. It used to be an astronomical observatory until light pollution and the vibrations from increased traffic in the streets made it useless for its original purpose.
Today it’s mostly famous for what it looks like on the inside.
It has an equestrian staircase though it’s so smooth it’s really just a gentle slope more than a staircase. It was build like that so our lazy bum king could ride his horse all the way to the top (king not in photo)
And naturally people have also driven cars up the tower
And held a bike race
For a while it was just sort of abandoned by the authorities and became a sloping marketplace
But today it has been restored and become a tourist spot as well as a popular destination for school trips. And yes, you can still watch the cosmos at the top.

OOC: Hmm....
OOC: A Black Diamond Apple. Interesting.
This is the Black Diamond Apple, and its origin is truly unique. It grows primarily in the Nyingchi region of the Tibetan Plateau, over 3,000 meters high, where trees endure intense sunlight during the day and freezing temperatures at night.
So what makes it different from a normal apple? Mostly its color. Despite its name, it isn’t truly black but a deep purple shade created by the region’s high altitude, strong UV exposure, and dramatic temperature swings. The flavor is often described as sweeter and more aromatic, as if the harsh climate concentrated its sugars. Nutritionally, though, it’s similar to other apples.
The empowering truth about the Black Diamond Apple is that it has become a symbol of resilience and potential, thriving in the challenging high-altitude environment of Tibet. [Source] [1] [2]
OOC: Black Diamond Apples are rare, hard to grow, and expensive. They are grown in harsher environments, and are said to taste slightly better than regular apples. They are also expensive because of those reasons. Does it ring a bell? Can you see the correlation between Mafia!Iruma and the apple's symbolism? Iruma, who grew up in a harsh environment as a child? Who is still the kindest person in the room regardless of that? Whose struggles shaped who he becomes? Who's the Under-boss of the Mafia, and is set to become the Don one day?
OOC: Am I looking too much into this? Probably? Do I care? Not at all. I also wrote a 1k essay on the cave scene of the bakuten shoot beyblade movie (which is also on Tumblr somewhere) years ago {edit: found it. It's from my old blog from like years ago}, so I'm pretty much used to this. Even if the symbolism isn't intended, it's fun to make your own interpretations out of it. Anyways, that's all Iru-mod has to say about this. I saw the cover page on twitter and IMMEDIATELY rushed here.

Free Pirate Booty, as promised!
The Pirate and the Potioneer: a Rival "What If?" Novella!
What if Ambrose was a potioneer on Eli’s pirate ship?
When pirates kidnap Navy potioneer Ambrose Beake and press him into service, he strikes a deal with them: he’ll serve the scallawags until he saves enough money to open a potion shop on land. Sweet, steady, pirate-less land.
Unfortunately for Ambrose, shops cost gold: half a decade’s worth of gold, at a time when pirates barely last a year in their dangerous profession. So, when Captain Eli Valenz- oddly caring, unfortunately handsome- proposes they hunt for buried treasure, they set sail to secure Ambrose’s future together.
But far more than storms and rum shortages lie in the pirates’ way. To reach the island of treasure, they must battle krakens, evil commodores… and their own feelings for each other.
Based on the characters in A Rival Most Vial, this novella is a fun, self-indulgent, swashbuckling “what if” adventure from Ambrose’s point of view, with guest appearances from Rosemond Street and a few faces from books 2 and 3 of the Side Quest Row series.

I love when it's a story within a story, like when the character speaks directly to the reader or a scribe recounts events. One way or another, the fourth wall is broken and the reader is drawn into the world.
For this Witch Hat Monday I drew Coco in a Starry Night Dress! It's a continuation of the Starry Night Hat I painted a while back :)
Time lapse below, the full hours long art videos, PSD file and HD image will be DMed on Patreon the 5th of each month :)
