I think this moment is criminally underrated. We all know the three garridebs and the devil’s foot but what about the bruce-partington plans. It’s even one of the two cases with Mycroft

Fatphobia is crazy bc all this bullshit is making me dangerously skinny and I still get praises on it sometimes. Please god be normal about body fat you are supposed to have it
“this character did not act in the most objectively logical way possible!” is not ! actually valid literary criticism
i have trust that the media literacy enjoyers will find this one idk

The Veranda scene was killing me so I accidentally stayed way too late drawing this - Bryce and @curtmega killed this scene
Watson can get into really dangerous situations and yet the only thing running through his mind throughout them is “oh my god he really does love me” and I think thats beautiful.
(Flaring up) I wish I didn’t have intestines (remembers it can in fact get bad enough that intestines need to be surgically removed and replaced with a waste bag on the outside) I’ll keep my intestines actually
fellatio sounds like a supporting shakespeare character rather than oral sex on a penis to be honest
> medical problem > unsure if it's serious or will go away on its own > sees a doctor to be sure > "why the fuck are you here. this is nothing. it will go away on its own"
> medical problem > unsure if it's serious or will go away on its own > decide to wait to not overreact > problem remains > sees doctor with concrete problem after all > "why did you wait so long. we could have done something if you had come immediately"
men and women are literally the same but unfortunately everyone's crazy so we are forced to pretend they're different in some ways.
has anybody else noticed that the classic sci fi novel Don’t Create The Torment Nexus features a Torment Nexus? that’s pretty problematic of the author
george let them reunite in winds or i will kill myself in front of you i am so fucking serious
(like this art? my commissions are open!)
this is in perfect iambic meter and sounds like the first line of a weird poem
Rule #2
Don’t ever hug a lobster when you see one on the street,
For decorum is essential when a lobster you must greet.
You may comment on the weather, compliment his choice of hat,
But crustaceans like their space if one should stop them for a chat.
Don’t ever hug a lobster when you’re strolling down the coast,
Simply nod and give a greeting, or a handshake at the most,
For a lobster’s first priority is formal social graces,
And one seemes over-familiar if a lobster one embraces.
Don’t ever hug a lobster when you meet one in the sea,
For a lobster’s spines and chitin make it difficult, you see,
And he might become self-conscious if you bring that fact to light,
So don’t ever hug a lobster, simply put, it’s impolite.
Watson's love for food is such an integral part of his character that we've been robbed of in modern adaptations. Yeah it's been hinted at but not like this since maybe Rathbone's Sherlock. Breaking down a case while absolutely demolishing a hotel breakfast is pure Watson core and I have missed it terribly.
do not forget the patron saint of these weeks that we celebrate ourselves proudly and openly in the streets
her name was Marsha P Johnson, and we have her to thank for so much.
remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.
thank you, Marsha. we remember you.
