I do a little bit of everything (absolutely blaming ADHD for the terminal case of 'buys new arts and crafts supplies I don't touch for 6 months' brainrot) including: photography, videoography, epoxy resin, graphic design, pixel art, polymer clay, painting and anything else I can get stuck into!

Wow, this blew up in a hurry! In honour of 200 notes, I've made a few small tweaks to the designs so they look better on t-shirts and other apparel - just in time for any Pride celebrations you might be attending! I've also collected them altogether in one sticker sheet (here) so you can share with friends or use it as a way to make new friends in queer spaces!

Anyone else running out of spoons more rapidly these days, or is that just me? I mean, I know I have some personal life things that are stressing me out and making it more difficult to recover spoons, and the state of the world isn’t really helping matters, but I don’t think I’ve been this consistently tired and emotionally withdrawn and lacking in energy for years and that was when I was actively burnt out and so anxious that I was physically nauseous every morning.

A common greeting up in Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands; it's a lovely friendly way to say hello. It's also common to hear 'duckie' as a familiar, non-romantic way to refer to people in a similar way as 'sweetheart', 'love' and 'pet'.

My main artistic goal is to make the world a bit brighter, a bit happier, a bit less gloomy. Given that winter in Britain is a very grey affair, I’m pretty sure it’s my main way of combating SAD.

A little experiment with leather-effect Fimo to make my plain new coffee tumbler a little brighter and more me. Can I see all of the mistakes I made? Absolutely. But I still made a thing that makes my world more colourful and that's the energy I want more of this year.

I want to get back into doing more polymer clay things, even though my physical crafting space is a bit limited at the moment.

Did you know that in Victorian flower language, bluebells often meant kindness? 

I can't pretend that I'm a saint myself, but I do consciously try to be as kind and compassionate as possible in my life. I could probably do with the reminder more often than not, though.

There's always such a lot of pressure to constantly be doing something - work, side hustle, chores, social obligations. I'm particularly prone to burnout, especially if I don't take the odd day to myself to fully relax, but I find it really hard to silence that guilty nagging voice that I should be doing more. This is my visual reminder that rest IS doing something, and that’s something important for me and my health.

There is a Welsh phrase: Dod yn ôl at Fy Nghoed. Literally 'coming back to my trees', it carries shades of the English phrase 'returning to your roots' - coming back to the place (physically or metaphorically) that you came from, and returning to a more balanced state of mind.
