the past month has been wild! i started my phd (i'm researching how support networks contribute to student mental health) and i've had so much reading and admin work to do in the first few weeks. i finally got to visit campus (!!!!) and it's absolutely beautiful, i'm so excited to spend the next 3 years here. i'm hoping my posts will become more regular again as i really get stuck into my research. hope everyone is well & safe & happy! :-)

I admit, my start to the day wasnt productive at all... But I kept a positive mindset which led me spending time to study at my local cafe. Glad to say it helped! On a side note, my desk area is slowly coming together (after years of use lol) so I feel more confident posting it here :)

i changed the prints on my wall a few weeks ago and i absolutely love this layout so much!

i need to write a protocol for my field internship (geländepratikum in german lol) next week but i think it is not too much work :)

The experience with university so far is okay, I did my best not to expect anything and I believe that has helped immensely. Some of the things we're discussing I already know quite well, other things I knew less of. I'm curious to see how the rest of the weeks will go, as I don't find it a particularly special or different experience yet either. Then again, I still haven't got properly lost so we'll see.
