X men needs characters who question the idea of the school and Charles’ dream ENTIRELY. Let us not forget he groomed five teens, four of which had serious issues at home or mentally, into becoming freedom fighters and then tells them they NEED to pass down this knowledge of being a mutant and whatever to the next gen.

To be brief, he tells them to pass the trauma of fighting foes as kids down to more kids to help the mutant cause. Hey dude, THIS WAS NOT THEY WAY TO GET MUTANT FREEDOM. Children don’t need to fight genuine villains, you could make the training sessions less fighting oriented and just in control or practical use, having more connections and being on the news just talking

Headcanon but it’s actually canon:

Akihiro hates when people assume that he likes stereotypical Japanese stuff, but mostly because he actually does. He DOES love herbal teas and samurai swords and animes. And it has NOTHING to do with him being Japanese, he’s just a huge nerd

Johnny is more emo/punk than Akihiro, listening to actual heavy rock and being apart of the scene more than he was. Everyone made fun of him for it when he was at his highest form of emo but because of publicity he had to tone it down a lot.

Bobby truly believes in crystals, like, TRULY. He believes in a lot of spiritual stuff from a hodgepodge of different sources because he wanted to believe in something after leaving christianity and leaning more to Judaism. I think he would do a lot of research on the things he would increment into his personal life as to not be offensive but he also isn’t really open about it anyway.

Akihiro likes sleeping in the bed with Bobby because even in the summer he doesn’t need a fan or anything to stay cool. Bobby likes playing and smelling Akihiro’s hair, it’s like if tea was hair in a good way
