The trip down into the Catacombs under Paris was a sombre, though very interesting, experience. Over 6 million skeletons have been stored in the Catacombs. It took 45 minutes to walk through the tunnels and look at the skeletons, geological information and other features. I was a bit worried about whether the visit would be 'scary', especially after seeing my boys' selection of YouTube videos on the Catacombs, but all was fine.
