Voyage of the Damned
We've been absent, we know, but we have another one-off companion episode for you to enjoy. Yup, this time we hit the fabled Titanic and Voyage of the Damned. Astrid Perth. We can't get her out of our heads.

The Doctor's Daughter
ANAGAT is forging a new path. A path that travels by all the one-off companion episodes. That's right, we're running a theme and it's all about those people that showed up with such potential to be a companion, yet for one reason or another, it didn't happen. We don't know why in some cases, and we sure like talking about it and asking those hard questions that need asking. ANYWHO...we start this theme of podcasts with The Doctor's Daughter, a Doctor 10 episode with Donna and Martha. Why has the Doctor's Daughter just disappeared, slipping out into space on her own adventures? We don't like it! Listen in on the conversation and chime in on our twitter about a one-off companion you enjoyed. Also, Nick Frost for Doctor Who!

Epic Who by Düfus
I can't say I've been on a kick, but I can say I've had a revelation of sorts. Upon multiple viewings of long form television shows, particularly crime dramas, specifically Luther and The Killing, I had an idea. I really want to see a long form series of Doctor Who. After further digging I discovered the Luther creator Neil Cross has written Who before. He is responsible for two of the best episodes that happen after The Snowmen special. The Rings of Akkatan and Hide. I am well aware that Luther really isn't long form, but it certainly leaves that impression. When your binge is complete and you recount what has happened you only then remember that each episode has been about a single case, however, you learn more about Luther each time, it seems more so than the actual case itself. When it's all said and done it feels more like a journey of Luther's psyche that takes place through all of these murder investigations instead of concentrating on solving the murders themselves. How super-freaking-cool would it be to open a season of Doctor Who with this massive plot, totally serious in scope, a world or universe ending scenario that would only unfold bit by bit, one episode at a time. Keeping us on the edge of our seats week after week for 40+ minute spans, returning always not for the Doctor as we may have in the past, but for the story. To see what the Doctor will do this week to bring an end to this horrible menace. Epic Who. Would be so cool.
Doctor Who: The Movie
In this new ANAGAT podcast, we discuss the smoothest Doctor there ever was...none other than Paul McGann, Doctor 8! Daphne Ashbrook would make a fine companion, maybe we could feed her ex-boyfriend Brian to the Nestene Consciousness. Eric Roberts is...well, he's Eric Roberts. Anyway, we watched Doctor Who the Movie, the 1996 hopeful reboot from BBC and FOX. Weird team-up right there, but even with the television production look and annoying wannabe 'gangster' kid, it's Doctor Who! IN THE 90's! With Jelly Babies!!

Me and Paul McGann’s beautiful duckface.
This man is absolutely wonderful!
The Day of the Doctor
It's a Doctor Who 50th Anniversay ANAGAT Extravaganza! Yes, 3 months after the entire world already viewed it, here we are talking about it! That's fine, though, because the time to talk about the Doctor is ALWAYS. Not only do we converse on, around, and about The Day of the Doctor, Devon bubbles over with excitement over the Doctor 8 mini-episode, The Night of the Doctor. Then, the epic discussion continues as Dufus centers on the awesome smug mode post regarding the recasting of Doctor Who with American actors. http://smugmode.tumblr.com/post/76357190291/the-modern-doctors-usa

The Name of the Doctor
Dufus and Devon deeply discuss The Name of the Doctor episode and it is EPIC. Not only the episode, but the conversation these two dorks have about it. Devon is a bit over-excited, but with good reason. After the episode conversation-review, Dufus brings up a bit of controversy stemmed from this post: http://to-killl-a-mocking-jay.tumblr.com/post/75944328312/full-video-x-blog-of-videomaker-x A seriously great discussion with many interesting viewpoints about Doctor Who are found in this one from both sides on this, the most EPIC pod from ANAGAT yet!
