Taken from the upcoming musical 'Drugs Money Yo'* - written, directed by and starring a founding member of Anarchist Cupcake - an Australian hip-hop parody based on William Shakespeare's MacBeth. Essentially all of the characters have been replaced by Aussie hip-hop artists - except for Dant'e (King Duncan), who is a black American rapper and head of the gang - living in the notorious southern Perth suburb of Yangebup that deal drugs to support their meagre rapper's incomes. Notable character's include Macca (MacBeth), Freddy (Fleance), Loqueisha Marmalade a.k.a Sweet L. Lady Sugar (Lady MacBeth) and Frank Banks or Franko (Banquo). This is Act III, Scene 3, in which Franko is murdered. And yes, you did recognise that GarageBand loop. Also, MacDuff is secretly Snoop Dogg. YOLO! *N.B. 'Drugs Money Yo' is not actually an upcoming musical.

Have you guys ever noticed how in western films the bandits always have to remove their bandanas before saying something dramatic? Well, that's because in the olden days, when westerns were becoming popular, the studios didn't make much money and they couldn't afford to add subtitles for the hearing impaired. So instead, they just got the actors to pull their bandanas off their faces before saying dramatic things like, "Look out, it's the Sheriff", or "Gimme s'more beans, I'm hungry!"
An Apology- A Plea...
On behalf of Anarchist Cupcake, I must again apologise. This time however, instead of absolving oneself after perpetrating a ruse, I am indeed attempting to make amends for the earlier use of a possessive 's following a band-mate's name that ends in an 's' as well. I must wholeheartedly affirm that we do not support William Strunk's method of forming possessives as outlined in his ludicrous guide, The Elements of Style. "One of the 100 best and most influential books written in English since 1923." My ass.
It has been said that "a stiff apology is a second insult... The injured party does not want to be compensated because he has been wronged; he wants to be healed because he has been hurt." And so, I can only hope that those offended accept my apology, and trust that it is indeed as supple and pliant as I asseverate.
