Speculative Avali evolution: part 2

As you can see, the Ava'okey's descendants found life in the trees due to competition from larger Predators such as the Rieth'ool, the T-Rex of Avalon.

The Ava'ila are a lot smaller compared to their ancestors, capable of gliding from tree to tree.And that's not the only thing that changed, unlike the Ava'okey, the Ava'ila develop a pack-like social intelligence to keep each pack member safe from larger Predators like the dreaded Rieth'ool.Their chirping helps each pack member know where the others are, which is especially useful when they're looking for food and smaller prey to hunt.

Rieth'ool is an apex predator that has six limbs, though its forearms shrink in favor of a long muscular neck and a more powerful bite force. Despite these adaptations, this creature has one major weakness, it is completely colorblind.

Rieth'ool tends to shake trees trying to make prey fall down where it can reach it, because of this, it's really good at seeing motion to catch fallen pray with its with its split open jaw.

What you see it before you is an ancient ancestor of the Avali known as a Ava'okey.

A semi-aquatic quadruped, that evolved from an ancient fish-like creature that had surprisingly good echolocation known as the Ava.

In front of the Ava'okey, is the species that they often pray upon which can have a wide range of sizes known as a Roth'mi a rodent like life form that often hides in yellow spotted lycan.

They usually go out of there safe hiding spots in search of food, usually the umbrella mushroom, which is when the Ava'okey strikes.

As a solitary predator, the Ava'okey usually hunts alone, the reason why is that they have very little to no competition.

The Ava'okey will only seeks out other members of its species when it seeks to reproduce.Roth'mi on the other hand tennis gather in groups though, they often hide from larger predators and let those that aren't able to get away to succumb to their face.

Due to its hiding spot Roth'mi unintentionally spread the spores of the yellow spotted lycan to different bodies of liquid ammonia, if allowed to grow and remained unchecked.

This lycan will grow and pollute the pond an explosive diversity of microbial life often causing extreme diseases for our unfortunate animals living in or drinking the liquid ammonia.

Behind the Roth'mi is the poisonous cup mushroom, these mushrooms tend to give out a very sweet scent to lure in unsuspecting victims to eat it.

Also noticed that there's some fungal bushes and not to mention The crimson mushrooms, attention reproduce by a very different method compared to the traditional fungi.

These large mushrooms tend to reproduce by spreading some of there mycelium to Make a mini version of itself via budding, spores are mainly use for helping with genetic diversity, It's kind of like a flower.Unfortunately for the Ava'okey, the future had other ideas that would dramatically change the creature's lifestyle...

Keep in mind that this book also carries themes that can be heartwarming to you the reader these themes include Wholesome memories from a Character's Childhood, heartwarming reunions, A team up to face a common enemy, Some jokes here and there, a dog, Self-acceptance to some extent, Friendship, Understanding, And last but not least you can even find this theme in the show Rick and Morty of all places Healing from grief.These themes will not appear all in one chapter but in different chapters. Reader's discretion is advised.What is the story about?

Things Have Changed is a sci-fi horror book inspired by the media that I like and of course, the video game Changed.The first few chapters will follow a teenage human boy named Andrew Cotton who has met a terrible fate. later in the story, a few chapters will focus on an Avali named Eeso Nesumi who crash-landed on Earth during an invasion that was planned out of fear of the return of the Benefactors due to very little to no information the Illuminate had about Earth.

The invasion was a total failure due to some supernatural forces coming from an unknown entity. Eeso is now tasked with finding what happened to his pack members and other crew members who went missing but little did he know that something terrifying is lurking in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to strike and it's not like the usual parasitic latex creatures running around the planet's surface.

Will our unlikely heroes put aside their differences and face a common threat or will they be two of the hundreds of victims who went extinct across the galaxy?
