PM: I apologize that someone else got to you first. But I prefer to think of it as him making you better for me to reap the rewards.

PM: I’m actually pretty pissed at myself for falling asleep before putting in a rental request for you today. I was looking forward to playing with you today, it’ll have to be tomorrow now.

PM: Really? You’re renting me for a day tomorrow?

Cole walked over to the bed and sat down on the chair provided. “You look terrible.” He commented, gently brushing Andrew’s sweaty hair from his forehead. No fever so that was good. At least that witch seemed to keep him hydrated with a little food in him. Cole hadn’t minded their teasing sessions but this? Whipping a slave who had done nothing this badly for no reason? It was too much. No one deserved this. “How are you doing bud? Do they have you on some pain killers?”

“Gee, thanks,” Andrew told him with a small smile, pulling up the light blanket to cover him up more just a bit. He kept still for the most part, his glance drifting off to look at the ground. He shrugged slightly, lifting his gaze to Cole as he asked him questions. “Uh-huh,” he told him softly. “Pain killers, I am on,” he told him, raising his eyebrows a bit. “How are you doing?” he countered.

[F2F] The slave room is currently decorated for the girls to arrive tomorrow so if you need to lay down you're more then welcomed to my bed. I'll be in after my workout and I'll help you eat if you need help and then we'll change your bandages. You are to let me know at any point if you need pain medicine or anything. Alright Andrew? I want you to be comfortable and get you through the worst part of the pain.

[FTF] Can I have some medicine before you go?

[FTF] Of course, how much pain are you in?

Sounds terrible. Perhaps if you were good and had good taste I could provide you with music but not bands that require three genres to describe them.

Cole looked at his watch and frowned when he saw it was already almost 2 in the morning. He had taken a nap on the couch since Andrew had requested him come later and had fallen asleep longer then expected. With a grunt he grabbed the bear from the kitchen counter and headed down to the infirmary. He knew Andrew didn’t like the stupid bear but maybe it could make him feel better. Something to hold at least. Cole would deny it if anyone ever found out but he still had his stuffed penguin hidden under his bed that he held on those tough nights. He thanked the nurse after she lead him to Andrew’s room and was quiet as he approached the boy from behind. Cole wasn’t sure if Andrew had had other guests and maybe that’s why the boy had requested him come later but it didn’t matter. Andrew had reached out to him and that was enough for him to want to visit the boy. “Andrew. Are you awake?” His back was thankfully bandaged but he could still see the bruises on the bare skin and it made his stomach turn with disgust.

Cole seemed concerned about him which made Andrew feel a little bit better. Despite some quirks that seemed odd to the slave, Cole was a good guy and a good person to lean on, despite how much Andrew hated asking for help. He was bad about calling out for help in other ways. Andrew was somewhat of an inconsistent character. As the day started he was insistent on not needing anything, but as the pain progressed and the strikes increased in pressure and impact, it was clear to Andrew that he wasn’t good, and that he didn’t want to be completely alone. When he heard Cole’s voice, he slowly turned around with a pain in his back, groaning as he was able to face the taller man. “Hey,” he told the other man.

I suppose so. But if I come too much later I can’t guarantee how long I’ll be able to stay.
