Day 3

Day 1

Time to restart the count. It seems like I missed more then just one day but it was only one day that I didn’t draw at all and it was because my 3 year old had a birthday and I opted to play board games at night with my friends instead of locking myself up and drawing.

Been doing a fair bit of adult content lately. I go through phases. It’s usual very full frontal though and that’s something I want to get away from and get into more tasteful/softcore porn.

Still messing around with character designs and costume stuff.

Day 7

Not getting as much drawing done as I’d like. Still contemplating a lot and I know my skills are getting better but I need to delve more into actual comic creation.

Hardest part about comics is the paradox of choice.

Day 6

I’ve been doing a lot and not a lot. I’ve been thinking mostly and that tends to take me out of the drawing mood. Still getting these drawings out is a top priority for to draw at least a little bit every day.

At any rate I was just playing around with some more character designs for a comic I’m working on. I’ve started rough drafting the script but it’s still terrible but we’ll see what it turns into.

Day 5

So this is the kind of style I’m slowly settling on. I don’t have the patience for an overly “clean” style and instead prefer something more in the vein of what someone like Stjepan Seijic would do.

It’s rough but it gets the story across and using accurate anatomy and good color choice and what not it doesn’t distract the reader to much.

What do they say 20% of the work gets 80% of the results. That’s what I’m aiming at anyway.

Day 4

Hard to concentrate and stand while drawing at the moment. Teeth seem to make it very hard to focus and concentrate when you jaw is swollen up like a bullfrog and it’s causing you all kinds of headaches.

So this was all That I got done.

Day 2

Only got 30 minutes today so a quick couple of warm up sketches and I started throwing down some color on the mercy piece.

Incomplete at the moment, but I’m back at work now so my time to work on stuff is going to be limited...

Went back to using lineart for another study.

I think I’m improving. I did another piece in a similar style almost 12 months ago and this one is a considerable improvement in my mind.

I did an attempt at an Adem mercenary a while ago, I guess you could call this a redraw. I wanted to see how much I’ve improved. The last one was a quick sketch so I tried to keep the time for this one under an hour

It got very deadpool very quick though which was unintentional. I have a few more era/world relevant costume design changes that I think would make it more the way it should look.
