Okay so!

Grace, Simon, Rocky, and Adrian (who for the purposes of this are humans) are all sent to be the saviours of the world elsewhere. Elsewhere as in another fucking universe where dragons and magic exist! And is suffering from their own 'petrova problem' as Grace starts to call it, but unfortunately, this is nothing like the astrophage that threatened Earth. A red corruption is spreading through the lands, making anyone who touches it weak and ill until it uses the corpse as a vessel to infect more. Luckily, this world has already set up a resistance, so the gang goes to join it! And get given an egg, their dragons hatch into the MANY dragon types on offer (Grace gets light, Simon gets blood, Rocky gets earth, and Adrian gets a cromatic (colour)). They are shipped off to a school to learn how to raise and care for a dragon after the resistance learns that the gang can't really ride dragons (and Rocky and Adrian are still used to being humans). Shenanigans ensue.
