I unironically think solo queue NEEDS voice chat for the sake of proper communication between teammates. It's so frustrating to lose off of a mistake that could've been prevented by simply knowing what everyone wants to do and planning/adjusting accordingly. Obviously toxicity is a concern, but I think it's overblown as that behavior is 100% on the toxic players themselves, not the voice chat environment.
