would it be absolutely insane to pick up my story, remaking all the characters and everything, right where I left off and act like nothing happened đ
hey, not to bother you or anything but I really enjoy your stuff! do you know when you'll be posting again??? hope you're alright
Hello!
Um, tbh it's sort of the same things as always. Busy and lack motivation. I work full time and am moving across the country soon so I've just had other things on my mind. However, I was in blender not to long ago so hopefully novelty will be back soon!
I'm glad you enjoy anything I post! I hardly think anyone besides friends care about my posts so it's nice to know others out there like them too! I miss being creative and actually have other projects and stuff in mind so I'll be sure to keep you all posted!
a few more brutally soft makeovers đ miss penny kang starting to become the beauty queen she was suppose to be (might revert back to the white hair, but weâll go black for now)
Ayla: *chocked up*Â Why did you release the book then? Isnât this what you wanted? To destroy my life and embarrass me? Break up my marriage?
Lilith chuckles. As if she cared about any of those things.Â
Lilith:Â That would have happened without me, darling. This was for me, get it off my chest. Â Me telling you personally is something a person wanting to fix things does. I want this shit over with.
Lilith stands, knowing that sitting down was the wrong decision. She faces Ayla, now silent.Â
Lilith: *sarcastic* I think you need more therapy, this spoiled rich kid entitlement thing is getting old. Find me if you ever really want to talk.
Lilith turns and leaves. Ayla, at a loss of words slumps back in the chair. That couldnât have gone any worse. A server approaches a few moments later.
Server: No rush, but we are closing soon. Can I get anything for you before we close the kitchen and bar.
Ayla struggles to find any words to say.
Server: Iâll just leave you for a few moments and come back.Â
Ayla simply nods and the server walks off. Ayla puts her head down, holding back sobs. She wasnât really like her parents, right?Â
Lilith:Â The crying and pretending like you heard anything I just said so you can get to the part where weâre supposed to make up. *smugly* I bet youâve been practicing this all morning.
Ayla:Â T-thatâs not true! I just know that all thatâs happening I deserve. I just want to make things ri-
Lilith:Â Make things right? For who? For Hugh and I? The guys? Or for yourself?
Ayla (begging):Â Lilith, please, Iâm being serious! Hear me out!
Lilith: *scoffs* You still donât get it do you? I slept with Hugh the night before your wedding in anger. To be spiteful. I havenât considered you a friend in years! Meanwhile, Hugh, albeit a bit of an asshole who doesnât like being called out, wanted to go to couples therapy with you. But the idea of him getting better didnât fit in your little narrative.
Ayla:Â Lilith, st-
Lilith (angrily):Â You want him fucked up so you can bitch and moan about your sad little wife of a rockstar life in your big penthouses and beach front properties and hold your wealth over everybody's heads!
Ayla was becoming increasingly frustrated. Lilith words were cutting like knives, even though she knew them to be partly true. She wanted to mend their friendship, not cause a scene.Â
Ayla: *grinding teeth*Â Thatâs not tr-
Lilith (loudly): Like hell itâs not! But now that Hugh isnât zonked out on drugs in some groupies bed anymore and actually trying his best, you canât have your little sob story anymore. Me though, Iâm not in therapy. I can still be your little toy poodle to show off and play with when you want and dispose of when someone better comes along. Oh, and perfect timing, now you can leave Hugh and find yourself again after your messy and public divorce, now that he's done something again. *mockingly* Itâs just perfect for you to got wine to mommy and daddy about how the delinquent boy broke miss heiresses wittle heart and go do a siesta in Spain or some shit. Â
Lilith was practically snarling at this point. The anger and resentment dripping from every word.
Lilith: I know you well Ayla, quite well. *leans in* You donât fool me for a second with your remorseful act. Youâre no better than your parents who you like to wine about every two seconds despite them providing the very car that got you to this bougie ass restaurant in the first fucking place. Or any of the other shit you supposedly own for that matter. Materialistic, depressed, and only apologize when you want something from others. You might be sorry for fucking up our friendship, but for all the wrong reasons. Iâm not playing this twisted side kick game with you anymore, I refuse. Grow the fuck up. Â
Ayla: Thank you. I just wanted to start by saying I didnât expect you be sorry. I am sorry though. I knew how you felt and I just was so selfish. I donât know why-
Lilith interrupts.
Lilith: Itâs not just that, though. I had only known Hugh for a few minutes, I felt some type of way about you still pursuing him, of course. But what hurt the most was knowing the one person in this world who wasnât related to me and actually cared, didnât.Â
Ayla (shocked): Wait⊠So this whole thing was just revenge? You hanging out with Hugh and the band, the sly flirting, all of it, was just a game to you? Just to get back at me?
Lilith:Â I wasnât really flirting, we just got along well. And hanging out with the band, they became some of my closest friends as you and I became more and more distant as time progressed. That night, I donât know. *bitterly* Hugh seemed off, I was mad about you having the gall to ask me to be in your wedding asking me to do thousands of ridiculous things. Thinking of how you were really just using me because you had no one else to be a stupid bridesmaid except family, I was just for show like-
Ayla:Â *tearing up* Youâre right, Iâm so sorry. Iâm such an awful friend
Lilith scoffs, and here it was. She knew not to get her hopes up.Â
Ayla sits in the back of the patio section of the bistro, waiting for Lilith to arrive. She wasnât entirely sure Lilith was even coming but she still felt nervous for the coming moments, rehearsing exactly what she wanted to say. Lilith always had a way of jumbling your inner thoughts. Â
Ayla looks up and there Lilith was, right in front of her, looking as agitated as ever .Â
Ayla (nervous): Lilith! Yo-you came!
Lilith (annoyed): I said I would. Itâs only three minutes past nine. How long have you been sitting here?Â
Ayla: About an hour...
Lilith sighs. She didnât see the point in this. She was well aware Ayla had probably been sitting here thinking of what to say to make herself seem apologetic but still the sad hopeless girl she liked to pretend to be. Â
Lilith: Listen, Iâm just here to say Iâm not sorry. Not one bit. And I canât even say I regret it, If anything, I regret ever saying anything about him to you that day-
Ayla (sad): Please, sit. I know you may not see the point in all this but I really want to have a honest conversation with you.
Lilith sighs again, contemplating what taking a seat would lead to. Nothing good, she was sure. She takes a seat anyway.Â
Isaiah heads inside the families living room, hoping his younger brother would catch the hint that he wasnât keen on the conversation and would rather speak rationally about the whole thing. Â
Isaiah:Â Iâm not. His being an asshole at times might be annoying to us, but itâs not enough reason to have him removed. Especially when youâre the only one making this request.
Elijah: Annoying? Thatâs a nice way to put it, real kind. I wish youâd afford me such lenience.
Isaiah: Donât start, the things youâd do weâre beyond just being a asshole, they were dange-
Elijah: *rushed* Whatever, besides. You know Iâm not the only one, Ace wants him out too. Even you canât stand him, why are you acting like heâs just a nuisance?
Isaiah:Â Hugh, even though I can agree is a hand full-
Elijah:Â Thatâs an understatement. Heâs the whole reason for this hiatus, his scandals put all of us under fire!
Isaiah rolls his eyes. Elijah liked to pretend his behavior didnât play a hand in the hiatus as well.Â
Isaiah: Heâs still a person. The same way Lilith is. You and Ace adore her, I get it, but itâs not like sheâs some lost little kid. Sheâs a grown woman who makes her own decisions just as all of us do. Everyone has gone through something, some of us subjectively more than others. Hugh has been getting help this past year, so this book information is nothing but old information coming to light that all of us suspected. Your issue with Hugh is he can seemingly get whatever he wants without deserving it, right? Especially your âoh so sweetâ Lilith who is fine exposing everyone else's life but thatâs fine, right?
Elijah: Donât get smart.
Isaiah:Â *sigh* But look at him now. Heâs paying for all those mistakes, is he not?
Elijah slowly nods, agreeing but still angry. His brother never took his side. Always had to have this moral high ground. Who cared if Hugh been through things, so had they and everyone else on the planet. Hugh deserved all that he was getting, and more.
Elijah:Â Ace and I have already spoken to management. Theyâre just waiting on you. Iâm heading to Aceâs place now.
Isaiah: Of course you two did, why am I not sup-
Toni enters the room.
Toni:Â Lilith called, says sheâs coming over tomorrow, something about Ayla.Â
Isaiah:Â So Iâll see you again tomorrow Iâm guessing.
a few things to keep in mind as you talk about the current situation with roe v wade:
women are not the only people who can get pregnant, and therefore are not the only people who get abortions or the only people affected by restrictions to abortion access â sincerely, a man with a uterus
the recent legislation against trans people transitioning, particularly as it relates to trans men and transmasc people, has been justified by the politicians supporting it using the argument that transitioning jeopardizes our reproductive potential, which they see as more important than our actual lives. if you support the legislation against us or have been silent about it, you cannot claim to be fighting for reproductive rights. you donât get to only care about it when it affects you â if you let them get away with that rhetoric against trans people, you give them the power to use it against you. if you canât stand in solidarity with us, you will end up standing against yourself
please donât forget us in these conversations, and donât be silent about the attacks on our bodily autonomy
all of this is connected â criminalizing transition, overturning roe v wade, itâs all working toward the same goal. if you care about one part of it, you have to care about all of it, or any efforts against it will fail
if you donât care enough about us to fight our oppression for our sake, do it because you cannot fight against your own oppression without fighting ours too
Just to add to this point, Justice Clarence Thomas stated in his concurrence with today's decision " ...we should reconsider all of this Court's substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell."
Those are decisions that prevent states from banning contraception, LGBTQIA+ sex, and same sex marriage. These decisions are very calculated and not only for the oppression of childbearing people, but also the LGBTQIA+ community.
abortion is a human right. my partner and I have compiled an exhaustive document with links to abortion funds and pro-choice organizations to support during this time, including state-specific resources. please consider donating + sharing!!!Â
