Exit, Downstage by LadyofthePhantomKnights - Rated M
After Leon has defeated Victor Gideon, and reunited with Grace, two broken souls wait in the dark together for a rescue... and a reunion, and explore how to live from here. Spoilers for the Good Ending of RE9.
Or: What if the rescue took a little bit longer than in canon?
Three times Grace accidentally called Leon ‘mom’, one time they talked about it and one time it wasn’t accidental by UnifiedCreations - Not Rated
“Hey, I’m going to bed. Don’t stay up too late, okay?” He rested a hand on her shoulder to make sure she heard, and felt distantly proud that she didn’t even flinch at his approach like she’d used to.
“Okay. Night, mom.” She mumbled, not even glancing up at him as her fingers flew across the keyboard.
Leon paused. It (somehow) wasn’t the first time she’d called him that, the first time being whilst in the midst of a panic attack so severe that she’d fainted, but he hadn’t brought it up since and she didn’t seem to remember.
“… Night, kid.” He squeezed her shoulder before heading off, hearing the frantic typing pause for a second before he just about heard the whispered,
“Oh my god.” that followed.
A Requiem, a Reunion by LadyofthePhantomKnights - Rated M
It starts out innocently enough, a suggestion by Dempsey to spark cooperation between agencies—a pen pal system. Grace Ashcroft is assigned to Leon S. Kennedy, DSO Agent, as the DSO has reluctantly agreed to inter-communication in order to see their needs done.
And yet, Grace finds herself taking comfort in writing to Leon, and Leon finds moments of joy in reading Grace's letters—until they've stopped after she mentioned she was going into the field for the first time, and just missing meeting each other in person at the FBI headquarters.
Until Leon learns of Raccoon City Syndrome, and Wrenwood Hotel. And finds his young pen pal is the one being taken by Victor Gideon.
Evidence Left on Purpose by novicius_nugget (athenoot) - Rated G
Maybe it would've been better if he had taken her away himself upon their first meeting instead of digging deep into the doctor's torture chamber of a facility, believing she'd escape unharmed by herself. Maybe it would've saved her a lifetime of trauma and grief. Regardless of her affiliation with the FBI, Grace was still young, inexperienced in the horrific life Leon had lived for 28 years. But God Almighty, for better or worse, she was exactly the way Leon was when this all began.
"Whatever it takes, count me in."
"Whatever it takes to save this city, count me in."
He might not be that same rookie cop anymore, but that rookie cop still existed in Grace.
I'll be right here by Tora_aa - Rated G
It was surprisingly quiet.
That's what Grace noticed first.
Her ears had been ringing, her vision oddly unfocused.
Grace remembered talking to Leon briefly when he walked to the helicopter edge she sat on. The joy and relief of Emily having a chance.
A bit later, it was confirmed that Elpis was administered to Emily, and she was on her way to a hospital.
-------
We see when Grace and Leon talk at the helicopter, and when Grace is working. But what happened in between those times?
The Difference by c_c_cherry - Rated T
“You—you told me Raccoon City was where you couldn’t make a difference. How do you—” She tried to find the words. “How did you get that feeling to stop?”
Grace closed in on herself when Leon hit her with a look as cold as ice. Any kind-hearted expression had left his face. A part of her wanted to reach out and make sure he was real, that she hadn’t left him behind with a bullet through his head or his body beyond salvation.

Or: Post-RE9 with more guilt and more parallels and more Porsche and also more comfort I guess
I’m Staying Right Here. by allthingsasian - Rated M
“P-Please don’t leave me.” Grace whispered, breathing weak, eyes unseeing and dazed. Leon couldn’t tell if she was talking to him, the medic or some other force within the room, the echoes of the memories of her mother perhaps?
Leon didn’t even blink, his response automatic.
“I won’t leave you Grace I promise, I’m staying right here.”
Return to RPD by Requiem - Rated T
After escaping from Zeno, Leon and Grace landed not in the lower levels of ARK, but in a rather familiar police station, one not in ruins yet.

Scary Dog Privilege by MagicMysticFantasy - Rated T
As the dust settles from the events at Rhodes Hill and Raccoon City and time passes, there are several moments where things don't settle quietly. Three of those times, Leon stepped in on Grace's behalf. The last time, it was Grace's turn to return the favor.
