Starter for @angelcresswell.
Doing maintenance wasn't usually Saskia's job but someone had to change the lightbulbs and apparently, she was the only one capable of doing it. The only issue she seemed to have was today of all days, she decided to wear a skirt and her co-worker had been staring up it the entire time he was holding the ladder.
Gross.
Screwdriver in her mouth, she screwed in the new lightbulb, sliding the old one into her pocket afterwards when the door opened, indicating a customer coming in. Taking the screwdriver out, she gave a sarcastic smirk. "Welcome in, if you'd like to take a look up my skirt like Ash down here, it'll be five bucks plus a kick to your face."
Angel had been meaning to stop by the record shop for a while now, but things kept getting in the way, but he was here now. Instinctively he went to look to see who was on the ladder and speaking to him, but quickly looked back down. "Don't worry, I'm a good boy," the British country boy always felt out of place, and he wasn't about to make himself unwelcome in the store by looking up. "Would you like me to do that? I'm a mechanic," sure working on cars and bikes wasn't exactly the line of work to fix the light professionally, but he had more skills than the average guy, or girl.
"A lot of lazing around and scrolling on my phone." Yeah, might sound lame, but it'd just been one of those days. One where just about everything feels just a bit too exhausting to do. Though he's not going to mention all of that. "Heck yeah. I'm down to see it." Didn't matter whether or not it was finished. Just the fact Angel was working on something like that was cool to him. Seeing progress compared to when the product was finished is always interesting.
@psychosupernova
Angel wasn't one to judge someone for that, he did it at times himself, he was pretty sure everyone had those kinds of days. "Make sure you put your shoes back on, trust me the garage floor will wreck your feet," he said with a small laugh as he got up from the bed. He grabbed his keys from the desk to get into the garage and headed downstairs, slipping his boots on and leading him into the garage. He showed him the bike and explained what he still had left to do on it.

āNo no donāt be sorryā¦I..I understand. Life can be complicated sometimes..ā Nathaniel stated softly with a gentle smile. āAnd I missed you tooā¦and Iām sorry I didnāt reach out I was so busy with dealing with my grandparents passing away..school..and everything else..but I missed you..and Iām sorry I didnāt contact you either,ā he stated in a soft and sorrowful expression.
āBut I would love to be your friend againā¦if itās okay with you?ā He asked softly with a warm smile with a hint of nervousness.
@hawkinsweirdos-rp-80
"Ah man, sorry about your grandparents," his instincts had him urging to reach out for him, to offer physical touch to comfort him, but he stopped himself, not wanting to chase him away, his fingers had twitched as though he was going to move his hand but managed to hold back. "As if you have to ask," Angel responded with a smile, nudging the other's leg with his foot playfully as they remained sat on the driveway. "We've probably got a lot to catch up on too."
The closer Angel got, the redder Chris' cheeks became. He tenses, but not because he doesn't like that they're touching him, but because the touch was unexpected. After a moment, he ends up relaxing a bit. Just as they're pressing their lips against his and those words are reaching his ears.
As flustered as he is, it doesn't stop him from returning the kiss. He's hoping the returned gesture is enough to answer their question because God, he doesn't want to stop kissing them just yet to respond. It's in the midst of it that he realizes it too - how he's been wanting to do this for a while too.
@fatalframez
Angel's heart was racing as Chris returned the kiss, bringing a hand up to rest on the other's neck, thumb rubbing softly on his jaw as he deepened the kiss.
gareth just gives a little nod at him agreeing to teach him, taking one last hit from his cigarette before he flicks it out into the street. "yeah, i think juggling drumsticks could be good for our band. just a little something i can do before a breakdown, you know?" just a quick juggle before he absolutely slays it on the drums? seemed like a good time to him.
he'll watch curiously as he brings out a deck of cards, his hands moving to the pockets of his jeans as he peers at the deck. he'll watch it fan out, eyes widening slightly. "woah, that's cool. how'd you get it to move like that?"
"A lot of practice," he responded with a small laugh, "I can show you all sorts of stuff," Angel didn't catch the almost suggestive tone he'd unintentionally used alongside the suggestive wording. He continued to play with the cards as they stood there, at least until someone bumped into him as they walked past and, in an almost comical fashion, caused the cards to spray from his hands.
Kenzie hadn't really planned on doing much for Christmas besides maybe taking a walk and making a small dinner for herself so when Angel talked to her about the pub lunch it really didn't take much convincing for her to say yes.
And she was glad she did.
Seeing Angel entertain for the crowd and how happy he looked doing it was something she wouldn't forget for a very long time. From talking with him the past couple of months she knew he loved to perform but seeing him do it in person? That was a whole other level. The way Angel was on stage feeding off the crowds energy showed her that performing was exactly what he should be doing with his life.
Kenzie caught his eye as she danced around with a couple of the kids as he sang and she noticed the blush staining his face. Wiggling her fingers towards him in a wave as she headed back over to her chair to sit down since the baby had started kicking harder as she danced, placing on hand on her stomach she took a sip of her drink and smiled as he sat down. "It is and you were amazing up there. Like you totally belong on stage making people smile."
Angel didn't even try to hide the grin that came from her words, "yeah? I love performing, stage or not if I can make people smile then it's a good day, especially kids," he said as he glanced over at the kids still running around the pub, it was no secret that he wanted a family of his own, he was young but he knew what he wanted. And of course having a beautiful pregnant girl living with him didn't help.
He decided to take a risk as he returned his attention to Kenzie, "I know you've got a lot goin' on but...I like you, a lot, would you wanna be my girlfriend?" He had been wanting to ask for a while, but hadn't been sure how to go about it.

@angelcresswell said: ā would it be wrong for me to kiss you? ā (for Chris)
Chris would be lying if he were to say the question hadn't caught him totally off guard. Not because he doesn't like Angel, but because - well, he figured they were a bit out of his league as people would say. That and he's never really explored this part of his sexuality. Being interested in men like he is women, that is. Sure, he's had feelings for another guy; Namely Josh Washington, but as far as he knows? Josh is dead. Those feelings would never have the chance of being explored.
However, he's been enjoying the time he's been spending with Angel since meeting them. They often encouraged him to come out of his shell and he didn't really feel afraid to be himself. Maybe that's why after the longest time of straying away from people he finds himself falling a bit hard. For Angel, that is. "What? I mean - No, it wouldn't at all." He's tripping over himself in his words, surprise still evident in his voice. "I'd uh - I'd like that, actually."
Angel was glad he was picking up the right signals from Chris, he really was enjoying spending time with him, showing him that it' fine to be exactly the way he was, it helped that Angel went against the perception people had of himself by being a punk who juggled and rode a unicycle. "Yeah? If I kiss you..." he said softly, moving closer and bringing a hand to rest on the side of Chris' neck, thumb rubbing gently on his jaw, "does that make you my boyfriend?" Their lips met before Chris had a chance to respond to his question, he'd wanted to do this for a while.
Pomona chuckles a little at the mention of how loud they can be. Something that doesn't actually matter to him, but still good to know regardless. You know, instead of just worrying about whether or not he's being too loud and disturbing Angel's grandparents. "Oh yeah? You plan on showing me that thing any time soon?" Since it's been a bit of time since he's seen it. "Or you waiting for the final reveal?"
He pauses, stopping to thing about what he did that day. A whole lot of nothing. A lot of wallowing in bed, wrapped in a blanket cocoon until he finally managed to get up the courage to contact Angel. At least he contacted them this time; Always good at talking himself into thinking he's just bothering others when it comes to his feelings. His super personal feelings, that is. "I lied in bed all day, honestly." What's the point in lying? He might as well be honest. So, he is.
( @angelcresswell )
It never occurred to Angel that Pomona might want to see the bike before it was finished, "yeah? Sounds comfy, did you read anything or just chill?" He wasn't about to make it seem as though he was judging the other, he had his days where he hid in his room and didn't do anything.
Pomona was also the only person who had been in his room, the walls had a good number of crucifixes covering them, he was severely embarrassed by it and refused to explain, only saying it was an anxiety thing. "You wanna see the bike?"

"I don't know what I think about my style, to be honest." He's never really thought about it. Always just wore whatever felt most comfortable. He's not exactly fashionable despite knowing people that are. "I've never really thought about what I wear in general. Just whether or not it's comfortable."
( @angelcresswell )
"And that's totally fine, don't change somethin' that don't need changin'," he said with a smile. "I was headin' for some pizza, to eat on the swings, fancy some spont...spont..." Angel was clearly having difficulty remembering how to pronounce a word, pausing for a moment before managing to say it, "spontaneity in your night?" He was trying his best to make friends, granted chatting up a random guy at night wasn't the safest choice, but this guy seemed fine to him.

Nathaniel felt extremely relieved when he heard Angel speak. He watched his eyes carefully and even was slightly checking on if he had any severe injuries, which thankfully wasnāt at all the case.
However, when Angel said that he couldnāt help, but to laugh. āItās nice to see you too Angel,ā he stated softly with a warm smile as he watched the other sit crossing his legs facing him. Nathaniel got into that possession to face Angel better.
āSo despite falling how was your day today?ā He asked softly with a warm and gentle smile as he looked at Angel. He always felt relaxed around himā¦safe even. Which was very very rare in Hawkins, because normally he was constantly on edge.
"Much better now," Angel responded as he looked at his old friend, a grin spreading onto his face revealing that he finally had braces. "Look..." a sheepish look quickly replaced the grin, "I'm sorry I stopped sending letters, things got...bad, scary. And by the time I felt ready to re-enter the world I wasn't sure if you still lived here. I've missed you Nate."
@hawkinsoutcasts
gareth was just overly aggressive. he didn't mean to come off that way. it was just hard to control his tone at times. it was either coming off as sarcastic and aggressive or monotone and disinterested. sometimes, that wasn't even the case. though, so far, he liked this guy. what was his name again? angel. he kind of looked like one.
ah, braces. gareth had them for years. he even still slept with a retainer. he could sympathize. "you own a unicycle? can't say i hear that often," he soft laugh leaves him. "---...should teach me how to juggle sometime." it could be fun. he could juggle his drumsticks on stage as part of the act. wouldn't that be neat. "yeah? i'll keep that in mind. i ain't so bad myself." he usually steals everything unless it's a small business.
Angel couldn't even hide the clear excitement that lit up his dark blue eyes at the suggestion of teaching him to juggle, "dude I'd fuckin' love to teach you." Having someone not mock his interest in circus, at least not in an actively negative way, was a rarity for him and he wasn't about to pass it up.
Holding the remains of his cigarette between his lips he rummaged in his pockets before finding a deck of cards and pulling it out. He held it in one hand and finished off his cigarette before stepping on it to make sure it was out.
"Here's one of the last things I learned, it took a while to get used to how to keep them in my hand, check this out," he explained before showing a way of spreading the cards out.
"I'm so glad that worked, it's a pain in the arse to pick them up if I do it wrong," he said with a small laugh.
// Just got a notification but there was nothing there, if you've liked or reblogged something from me please let me know and @ me in replies, tumblr is just as broken as always
eyebrows raise at the question, bringing his cigarette up to his lips. he can't help but grin, letting out a little laugh. "oh, i can think of a fuck ton of people that would call me a bastard here in hawkins alone. maybe in some places in chicago as well." granted, corroded coffin still had a hard time finding gigs but things were opening up to their music. it was hard to get up and started but even harder whenever you were in the metal variety. "circus camp? were you a fuckin' clown or something?" sure, the way it was worded might seem aggressive but it's obvious in his features and body language he was more so curious.
The others tone certainly did come across as aggressive, but Angel didn't mind, he was just happy to be talking to someone and judging by their interactions so far it was likely not meant that way.
So he grinned in response, showing he had braces, "kind of, I've got most of the trainin' but not the licensing. I was pretty good at jugglin' and magic tricks, got mad balance on my unicycle too." It was clear he felt no embarrassment regarding his interest in circus. He took a drag on his cigarette and quietly addeed, "my slight of hand's good for stealin' if I gotta," before blowing the smoke out.

Angel was having a lot of fun entertaining the locals in the pub, it was mostly the elderly residents as the pub put on a Christmas lunch and party to help those who would otherwise be spending it alone. There was also some younger people and the occasional grandchild who was fascinated by Angel's juggling and magic tricks, he was clearly in his element as an entertainer.
He had practically begged Kenzie to come with them and after finishing their dinner he was back to entertaining, he had agreed ahead of time to do some music for everyone so that's what he did. The looks on his grandparents faces as they watched him was nothing but pure love. The last song he did had the children dancing around in front of the little stage, Angel couldn't keep the grin off his face as he sang and played his guitar.
"There's only one thing on my Christmas list, I want a cowgirl for Christmas this year, wrap her up in jeans and boots, send her down to me from you, I just want a cowgirl for Christmas." He had done his best to avoid looking over at Kenzie, but he couldn't help himself and made eye contact with her, she was watching, oh God. His cheeks began to visibly turn red as he pulled his eyes from her and finished his song.
Sliding back into his seat beside Kenzie, he gave her a quick smile, his face still red. "Told you this'd be better than sittin' at home bored."
