I don’t advice to study on the internet, since the pages use a more expert lexicon and if you are on middle school or high school, you probably don’t understand the most words there are on what you read. I think for study better change person to person, a person reading 1 time can know already the lesson, another person need to read 4 times. But here some advices:
- read with an high voice
Maybe this can sound stupid, but if you actually read with an high voice, you exercise to improve how you read + the lesson is more easy.
- Don’t read all the pages together
A common mistake is people tend to read all of the page and be confused, don’t do it, read paragraph for paragraph. Example: geography
Title of the paragraph: The world
Blabla
Title: nature of the world
In the most books even if it talks about a generic thing, there are paragraphs going on the specific or talking about include stuff for form the generic thing. So when you read one paragraph, don’t continue but explain that paragraph. Do that for 2 / 3 times and after read the next paragraph and to the same thing. At the end, explain all the paragraphs together
If in your book there aren’t paragraphs, you can perfectly create them! From the start to the full stop, maybe 15 or more lines, depends on the context. After read this paragraph and explain it, do it again
- conceptual map
Not really for an interrogation, but it can help you for understand the most important stuff on the argument. For the maps yes, I advice internet, since there aren’t hard words and it helps for understand what about is talking the argument
- notes
This the method I most I use and it really helps me. When the teacher explain, I take notes on the same time. It’s more easy because you actually write with your words the lesson and not remember the stuff I read. NEVER study just trying to remember the words, it’s just useless. You maybe will pass the interrogation, but you will not remember anything, since it’s not a big good thing, have culture is good
When you write notes and you maybe don’t understand a thing, don’t feel worry to say to the teacher “ I don’t understand ”, this is for every explation you listen, teachers are on the school for this. I advice to write with your words, it really makes easier to study
