Here’s a strange one. To celebrate my husband being 1 year cigarette free, I made him this lol

Matcha Swiss roll with whipped cream filling, decorated with home made modeling chocolate.

I am very proud of the ashes. They’re shredded coconut with a drop of food dye on them.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake and vanilla glaze.

When I took it out of the pan, I had to flip it over a few times before it would sit upright, so it got a little squished on top lol

And the only vanilla extract I have is the hood stuff from Mexico that’s made with the full vanilla bean, so the glaze has a cute brown tint to it.

Not my prettiest cake, but I wanted to play with some black cocoa that I bought. The cake came out delicious, but the chocolate icing still wasn’t as black as I wanted it to be. I’ll have to play more with the recipe.

I also wanted to mess around with two-tone icing. I used two small bags and one pre-tipped disposable bag, which is why it’s all the same design.
