He was supposed to have a long bachelor life ahead of him; no worries, no commitments except to the Family. When his timer started down from one day, he’d at first been a little saddened, but as the hours drug on he was growing used to the idea of having a soul mate; of finding that one and hopefully settling down with them. So when he’s down to mere seconds, he’s grinning excitedly and scoping the crowds in hopes that he can spot her (or him, for all he knew) beforehand. It’s as he’s distracted that he miscalculates the last step on the stairs and he goes tumbling forward, taking down a poor bystander in the process.
Blinking, he scrambles back to his feet and helps her up, apologizing profusely. As he steadies her, he notices the six zeroes on his wrist. Way to make a first impression on your soul mate, Russo. “H-hi, I’m Russo. I’m so sorry I tackled you like that. I guess I was just excited to meet you.” He grins at his own joke. God, he hopes this one likes his jokes.
It was just a normal day for Angel when she noticed her timer was showing that she'd meet her "soulmate" in less than a day. Angel was very reluctant to believe in soulmates so she tried her best to just put her timer out of her mind. Unfortunately for her she just couldn't help but wonder just what her soulmate would be like. Would they be a man or a woman, would they be kind, how would they handle the whole Klaus situation. It wasn't until she found herself being tackled by a random person that Angel was able to stop thinking about all of the what ifs. Angel was about ready to tear into the idiot that took her down with him when she was met with a grin and joke as he helped her up. "Well aren't you excitable then? I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you flying towards me the next time you get excited about something." Angel said as she smiled teasingly at the man in front of her.
