I'm so obsessed with this movie...
Rotating a murderbot and w359 crossover specifically imagining a hilariously disastrous MB and Eiffel dynamic
Eiffel is trying so hard not to do more robot micro aggressions. He and Hera have talked about this, they have a game plan! It’s not working. Eiffel is kinda scared of MB and panicking about disappointing Hera and he just keeps saying shit. MB hates him on sight, and hates him more with every passing second. The only reason it’s not throttling him is because Hera vouches for him and it kinda likes Hera.
Then of course some big disaster hits and eeeeveryone has to work together to fix it. And MB gets the baffling tonal dissonance of watching Eiffel snap into competent mode and be very good at what he does. And the thing is, it likes humans who are competent at their jobs.
And it’s confused and what if this is some kind of deception thats a danger to its humans?!? This asshole is clearly a liar! But obviously it’s going to figure out that Eiffel is just a world class half-ass-er, just like Murderbot is. And that he is/was also a captive, forced into this situation against his will. And thats he’s super loyal to his commander. And that he defines himself via media he likes. Which is also what MB does.
And Eiffel chills out after surviving an emergency with these guys, and MB probably saved his life somewhere in the chaos, so he’s probably a little bit star-struck now, which is… better than fear, mostly anyways. But it still can’t stand being in the same room as him
I’m just picturing Eiffel going “dude I wish I could watch movies in my brain all day! Being a SecUnit must be so cool” and Murderbot being like “hahah you have no fucking clue what my life is like. But also yes watching movies in my brain is pretty cool. You should be jealous.” And Minkowski yells over from where she and Mensah are having a tea party in the corner that, “if you could do that you’d never get anything done!” Eiffel replies “well yeah that’s the point commander! But hey if I was a SecUnit you wouldn’t have to worry so much when I get shot into space!” And then ART, from the digital tea party it and Hera are having, makes some comment about SecUnits just finding new and even more horrifying ways to put themselves in mortal danger.
having an oc you're obsessed with feels good as fuck
You are my solution
excluding friends ocs this might be the first fanart I've drawn which tells you a lot about what this book/movie did to me
if I ever tell you “lmk what you think if you read/play/watch it!” I am firmly inviting you to send me a play by play minute by minute cataloguing of your thoughts about The Thing
KILL AI AND REBLOG AND CREATE ART IN 2026
art: would you still love me if i were a worm?
the worm in question:
mistborn is so great cause u think this heist is gonna take like three books and then suddenly it’s not a heist and they’re overthrowing the government and ur like ok that’s what’s gonna last three books and then ur reading it and it’s moving way too fast and then the lord ruler is dead in the first book and u just resign urself to not be able to predict anything the rest of the series
writing is so funny because i could write nonstop for 9hrs and then hit a block where im like "how do i transition between this moment and the next?" and then i just dont touch it for 6 months
I am by NO MEANS a professional artist, nor am I good at replicating styles, but it was such a fun idea. Luthadel is such a cool aesthetic.
As a trans woman I can confirm that they indeed found an ancient forest inside a 630ft deep sinkhole in China
cis people can reblog this but keep it on subject, please
Happy pride month everyone always remember that the sinkhole has an ecosystem large enough to house not only insects but likely several species of small birds or mammals
I am begging everyone who has ever bemoaned about Hollywood only making sequels and IP movies to go see Sinners in theaters. It has the creative team behind Black Panther working on it and their talent shines through in the cinematography, music, costuming, EVERYTHING. It's a completely original screenplay written by Ryan Coogler and if you want to support original movies, go see it in theaters.

btw the katy perry/bezos' girlfriend/other irrelevant billionaires (with the exception of amanda nguyen go research her) 10 minute space stunt was not the first all female expedition no matter how much they try to market it as such. the first all female mission was in 1963 with soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, who was working class and had to pass incredibly hard exams to be chosen from 400 potential candidates. just in case we started falling for the propaganda machine again
