BACKGROUND INFO: Y/n is a member of the girl group newjeans which just debuted under hybe entertainment. When the girls are introduced to the other groups, a specific someone catches her eye.

"Guys, I'm really scared of teenage boys. I don't want to do this , " Paris whined, making you chuckle a bit.
"You're older than all of them except for James. You'll be fine , " Avanni giggled as she linked arms with her, attempting to comfort her.
You all arrived at the practice room a few minutes early; the thought of the boys already being there when you arrived was too nerve-racking for the five of you. The room was empty , much to your relief, and you and the girls began stretching and warming up.
"What do you think they'll be like?" Kya asked, sitting in a straddle on the practice floor.
"Hopefully nice ; I want to make friends with the other groups here," Avanni said .
Just as you were about to add on, the door opened , causing you to glance over.
Five boys walked into the practice room along with their staff. Their conversations came to a halt as soon as they were aware they weren't the only ones in the room.
As they stood there in the doorway, you looked over each boy. The truth was, you'd been a fan of the group since their debut, so you already knew who they were. But as your eyes found each member, they lingered on a particular boy withthick eyebrows .
Before either of you had the chance to say hello, both their manager and yours began explaining the plan.
"Each girl will have a solo challenge with a member of Cortis, and then they will be split off into groups , " their manager explained .
"The main dancer of your group will do a solo challenge with Cortis as a whole, so since you don't have assigned roles yet , please decide which girl will do it. Once decided, we can separate the girls off with each member," he explained to Manager Kim.
As your manager walked over, Paris immediately blurted out, "I am NOT doing that solo challenge, so don't even think of counting me in on that."
Eventually, your manager and the girls decided you'd be the best fit, much to your dismay.
"Why would you do this to me ? " you whined as you glanced over at the five boys huddled together. "They look so scary."
Your members giggled as your manager announced, "Y/n will be the one doing the solo challenge," as she ushered you forward a bit.
You sheepishly smiled at their manager as the five boys looked over.
"So it's settled , " their manager stated . "For the duo challenges, Avanni, you're with Martin ; Zula, you're with Keonho ;Paris, you're with Juhoon ; and Kya, you're with James. For the group challenges, it will be Paris and Kya with James and Seonghyeon and the other three girls with Juhoon and Keonho."
