Worldbuilding Question! What is the relationship between gijinka and their respective Pokemon in your setting??? Some of your posts have indicated that Pokemon as we know them do exist in the world, similarly to IRL animals (ex: you've mentioned eating fish Pokemon.) Would, say, a Rattata gijinka consider themselves the same as/related to a Rattata, or would they just consider themselves a person???
It depends, varying from species to species. For the most part, gijinkas believe they share the same ancestry as their pokemon counterpart. An example being the Rattata gijinkas who do not view the Rattata pokemon as pests like most other gijinkas and would rather get rid of them by peaceful means if they become a hassle. Then there are rarer species like Relicanth that place their pokemon counterpart highly and closer than others.

Mewtwo's Origin
Mewtwo was first created by scientists of Team Rocket, fully developed by February 6, 1996 planning to use it as a weapon in their endeavors to rule Kanto. Unfortunately it was too wild to control, eventually leading to its escape that caused the deaths of most of the scientists, and the project was shut down. The head scientist secretly sold the files pertaining to the project, minus the part of its hard to control behavior and escape, but was ratted out by a fellow scientist and was executed.
The scientist who bought the files joined Team Plasma, trying to get the favors of N to start this project. However he denied as he felt that any Pokémon modified by science had lost its pureness (similar to the abandoned project of Genesect), despite this the scientist persued this project in secret with the help of several other scientists. They managed to successfully create another Mewtwo by the night of February 6, 1997. While most of the scientists treated it like a lab experiment, one of the scientists treated it kindly. This Mewtwo eventually broke out when Ghetsis found about the project and planned to use it for his own nefarious purposes, but instead erased the memories of everyone it came in contact with, except for the one scientist who treated it kindly, telling them to be quiet of this before it left.
The two Mewtwo travelled through the world, not meeting one another until three years after the first one's escape. They were curious and cautious of each other, being careful not to provoke the other, until the second Mewtwo spoke with telepathy to greet the other. They slowly started a conversation, about their birth and their travels. Not long after they started, Mew appeared before them and inspected them. The pink mythical informed them that they are clones of themself, Mew, from the DNA within their eyelash, and they had been watching the two since their escape from their respective laboratories. Mew had hoped that the two would not cause trouble after escaping, which they were correct. The two of them asked Mew many questions, which the mythical told them they will answer all their questions if they follow them to one of their bases, which the two hesitantly agreed.
At Mew's nearest base, they welcomed the Mewtwo, both curious of the place they are in. Mew explained more of their questions, many trivial queries of mankind's society. Eventually Mew decided to give the two their own names, the first Mewtwo was given the name Yohann or simply "Y", while the second was named Xandria or "X". The two stayed with Mew for three months, before deciding to explore the world more, which the mythical happily obliged. As a parting gift, Mew gave the two their own mega stones, which both synced with each of them.
