Headcanon (hypothesis?) but I think Suo used to be very weak like Nirei, and maybe used to get bullied for it/made to be a gopher for evil gangs back in the day. And like Nirei he felt so bad and pathetic for it until his master taught him how to defend himself (the same way he taught Nirei) and why he’s so fond of and protective of Nirei, cause he remembers what it’s like to be exactly in his shoes and why he goes the extra mile to tell Nirei that he’s not a burden and that he’s actually very proud of him and that Nirei is doing well (in that too I wonder how Nirei’s fight style will look, will it be like Suo or will he try to emulate Sakura? Or make something of his own?). I just need to know what’s up with Suo he’s such a doll!
